Oh, I'd say they're right in the thick of that battle.
Speaking of... I watched some of UCLA and Wazzu -- and I swore the network was playing the game in slow motion. I was kind of surprised how slow everyone on both sides of the ball was moving. Oregon will hang 100 on those fools... as will Stanford and ASU (also very fast teams).

When it comes to speed Oregon is operating in a completely different dimension than any of those other teams.

I don't much care most of the time. I love to see both of them lose, which is rare. I hate schools like this and feel that most anyone who goes to play for them are douchbags.

Always good for a laugh to see idiots out themselves.
I have some problems with Stanford as a school, mainly having to do with their admission and financial aid policies. But they're a private school and they can do what they want.
Their athletic program is squeaky clean though. At least as far as I know there's never been a hint of scandal. They even make their players take real classes with other students. Anybody who puts them on a level with SC is really showing their ignorance.
Trev is really outing herself here with some reverse snobbery. I guess she has a problem with privately funded universities fielding major college athletic programs. No problem with public schools spending $millions on football though. How refreshingly socialist of her.

Financial Aid policies? at Stanford if a student gets accepted and the students parents cant afford to send the student, the student gets a grant from the school, seems like a pretty outstanding finiancial aid program to me. Do you work for a bank that gives out student loans... thats the only reason I can see a problem with that policy.
As for the rest, USC didnt use any shady tactics to recruit any football players, there are laundry lists of shady things used against players that were verbally commited to USC but USC hasnt done anything shady, show me a link or even tell me a story that shows otherwise. Slap on the wrist for thug players, Rey Maualuga punched a frat boy that mouthed off to him after a Rey had returned from his fathers funeral. the only weapon charge for a USC player in years was a paintball gun that a player was using to shoot at a buddy with. Not even a real paintball gun, just a toy.
This USC team is not very good, they have no depth and some dumbass has the dumbass coach convinced they can run pro style practices without hitting and now the team tackles like, well they tackle like girls. Id like to see Barkley yanked and let him watch from the sideline or even the pressbox for a game or so, there is depth at QB with Mustain there still, next year there wont be anybody. This is a 7-6 team at best, may as well let the guys who stayed play and the prepare the guys that will be here next year. Montes Tampa 2 is not built for spread offenses and mobile QBs, Washington converted 3rd and 14 and 3rd and 18 because plus a 4th and 9 on that final drive. The Devan Kennard experiment has failed, Devan looks lost at MLB and now there are 2 positions that are hurt by Kennard playing MLB. Galipo has had 2 back/neck surgeries and though he now has trouble playing downhill he would still be in position to make a play while Kennard is running around with his back to the ball. Losing both Burfict and Teo in the same recruiting class still burns when I see the MLB play this year.
Trojans are going to take their lumps, the 5 years of negative recruiting against them plus the poor player development the last 2 or 3 years from the less than adequate position and assistant coaches on top of just poor recruiting for need on top of a total lack of able bodies in the program and the sanctions on tap, unless the appeal works, is a perfect storm that can send USC on a spiral to the bottom of the Pac for 4-6 years, it could be a dozen years or more before they ever get back to being a premiere program if they can ever get back to premiere again.

Depends on what you mean by "afford".
If you're poor you go free.
If you're rich your parents can afford it.
There are a lot of families that fall in between, in which case you sell your house and spend your retirement to send one or more kids to college if you don't want to saddle them with $100K to $200K in debt when they get out. Or you send them to a public school, which isn't cheap anymore either.

He left out the part about this all being the SEC's fault. Keep that in mind.
As a National Merit Scholar my kid could have been a OU Sooner with a full free ride. Got a few damn good offers at a bunch of schools in the south.

You should have told him "The SEC Way". Instead of travelling out of state to the Div II or III schools, you could cut them a check and take the courses online at home.

After last season I decided to just get 2 season tickets this year instead of 6, they will be probably not be used or I can give them to employees the rest of the year. I have no intention in going to games when the team isnt going to put any effort up

of course. that's why you're a bandwagoning loser: you equate effort with victory. you obviously aren't very successful in life if sc can still allow you to attend practices, where you no doubt witness all the players lounging around eating donuts rather than actually practicing.
this guy put tons of effort in:
of course you're a liar and wouldn't pay to see him either since he sucked and you're a bandwagoner.

USC doesnt allow anyone to watch practice anymore, thats part of the NCAA sanctions, they can not have open practices.
They dont hit in practice and it carries over to the games, the defense thinks theyre playing flag football. Why bother to go watch that. the fuckin Huskies only punted once the whole game. Tackling is effort, holding blocks is effort, Matt Barkley is the teams captain and he is smiling on the sideline after Washington kicks the go ahead FG, I wasnt smiling, what the fuck is he smiling about. Mark Sanchez lost 1 game at USC, see him smile after that? If the captain doesnt care that the team loses, why should anyone else?
Stanford will beat the Trojans 56-19 this week and thats if the Cardinal only get the ball 8 times, they get the ball 9 times, they will score 63. There are 4 games left this year, Im sure I can find 4 employees to give the tickets and parking passes to as awards. If the team wins 9 games this year Ill but 4 season seats for next year, if not Ill just get 2 again and wait and see for next year.

Man, I love watching you fuckers melt........it's so GD much fun. Yesterday I had a golf match and I walk in to the place to pay and buy range balls for my team. Well in my infinite effort to try and piss off as many people as possible I had on a Washington hat and Stanford sweatshirt. Well one of the dudes behind the counter had on his SC sweatshirt. He looked at me and said, "A bit confused are we?" I said, "Hell no....these guys beat your ass last week and these guys are going to beat it this week." Then he started bitching about how everyone else cheats and how SC got screwed......I just kept laughing.......keep drinking the koolaid condom fan.....enjoy your ride to the bottom.......fuckers..........

He still lost more than two games while at USC, dumb fuck.
