Sideline pass. Great experience.

Buddy of mine's family are big Wazzu donors and I was able to score a sideline pass to the UO-WSU game in Pullman. If you ever get the chance to watch a game from the sideline you should jump on it. I had a great time. Saw up close, and heard, Barner get KTFO on that kick return. Knocked-knucks with Darron Thomas (even though I was in my Cougar gear, cool kid) as he returned from the locker room after being injured. Yucked it up with former UO AD Pat Kilkenny. Stared at the cheerleaders. Enjoyed watching the Cougs' effort and the Ducks' speed up front and personal. Good times.

I stood on the sidelines for a few WMU games that I covered while in school. Even in the MAC, a great place to see dudes get knocked the fuck out.

ditto on the sidelines. friend shoots photos for the umich website and occasionally manages an extra pass for an "assistant" to carry around one of his lenses. i've parlayed that into a games at notre dame stadium (whoot!) and indiana (meh, relatively speaking). also got to take in the michigan/minnesota game at michigan stadium in 04. bleh, minnesota, but michigan did need a last minute td drive for the come-from-behind win.

that indiana game was actually a consolation. i was originally going to be on the sidelines for the michigan/osu game in columbus, but this was 06, so my pass was yanked to give it to someone actually important to the program.

Have had the pleasure of 5th row at the 45 yard line seats a few times (thanks Senator Aguilar) and I must say the experience is much better than the usual endzone seating I acquire. Not big on season tickets due to the near mandatory contributions they EXPECT in a big way. Yeah...I'm a tight-ass. That said....sideline pass must be awesome given the experiences I've had right behind the NU bench.

I was a student manager for a time when I was at ND, so I saw a number of games from the sidelines.

I was working the ND-Michigan State game on the ND sidelines in '83, my job as to shadow one of the coaches as he was walking up and down the sidelines with his headphones on, keeping hold of the power lines so that he didn't trip anyone or tangle himself up. ND lost the game, but they had a chance to win it late and of course, we called for a long pass. I heard Gerry Faust say on the sideline, "Say a Hail Mary!" (God's honest truth.)

I was on the sidelines for the USC game in '83 where ND snapped a five-game losing streak in that series. I didn't have to work that game, so I had to stand on the USC sidelines. As ND was winning, I saw a ND fan get in Sean Salisbury's face and start taunting him, right on the sideline. I went up to him and said, "Sorry, that wasn't cool. Not all ND fans are like that."

Was that the last time you had a job?

Yes. I've been living in the shelter at old DC General and posting from the library near RFK as often as your shit team who dresses fags in skirts on sidelines and in-between the hash marks for tradition beats a decent opponent. When your wanna be Northwestern doesn't own the market on underachieving and delusions of grandeur, check back in. Until then, get busy falling down an elevator shaft, pussy.

Aww, is someone's little clit raw? That was a poor analogy. You can't stop yourself from posting and ND rarely beats anyone decent.

How is it to just cheer for teams to lose and not actually have a rooting interest in a team and be happy when they win?

Keep going with the perjorative homosexual terms. Those are always fresh and always funny.
