Might be. But not likely.

We got a nice little team down Columbia-way, but I don't think we've got the hosses to pose any kind of serious threat to much anybody with Conference Championship designs.

Yeah, Mizzou pitched a shutout last weekend against the Buffs, and they've picked off somethin' like 30 balls thru five games (it's 9) but after DECADES of late-season defensive meltdowns, I'm still in Show-Me mode with this bunch. Another concern is that we can't seem to run the damn ball against anybody unless they have a MAC logo stamped on the back of their helmets. And Lame Gabbert's health - or lack thereof - doesn't exactly leave TigerFan brimming with confidence either, though James Franklin's 4th quarter cameo last Saturday gave Mizzou hopefuls a peek at (better?) days to come.

Lets see how the boys fare on the road this Saturday at aTm and at home next weekend against the Sooners. I think it's only been about 600 years since the last time we beat OU. Win those two and all of a sudden that game against Big Rid in Lincoln on the 30th gets real interestin'....

Check back after the weekend, Sam. Tressel is gonna coach an ugly game on Saturday night, relying solely on his defense to win. I've seen it a hundred times. Would not at all be surprised if we bite it, considering we've shown zero signs of a decent running game this season (outside of Pryor-- who might not be able to run much with that quad injury).

par for the course for the fucking midget...all kinds of talent...but let's button it up on the road fellas...no need to score...we'll just keep the defense out there for 35 minutes...hopefully we block a kick...yeah same nightmarish movie at wisconsin over and over

Exactly _sc! The Illinois game showed me everything The Vest has in store for this weekend's trip to Madison-- which isn't much.

I might as well go out and buy my new remote control now.

Wisconsin hasn't the slightest prayer in hell of beating Ohio State. Remind me the last time Wisconsin beat anyone? They never beat Iowa, they never beat Ohio State, they never beat Penn State or Michigan when they're good. They suck balls every single year against the top teams in the league. They beat the 5-6 worst teams in the conference and get 4 wins out of conference versus garbage teams every season.

Nothing will change on Saturday. Ohio State is a very good team, and even if Tressel plays it conservative on the road it won't matter because Wisconsin will do what Wisconsin does best- crap their pants down the stretch against a good team. Wisconsin will lose 20-13 on Saturday and then by 14-17 points at Iowa next week. Then they'll probably win out because they don't play anyone else. They'll finish 9-3 and win the Outback Bowl against Florida to finish 10-3 with Florida being their only quality win. That's what they do. When the Badgers start beating top teams in the conference more than once every 6 years, then you Buckeye fans can start being worried.

TCU - I ain't worried about them with their schedule.
You better be worried about TCU. If Oregon State finishes strong like they normally do and win the Civil War, then TCU's SOS will continue to get stronger. Same goes with SMU representing the West division in C-USA which is a strong possibility now that UofH is without Keenum and Turner. Baylor can still surprise a team or two and finish with a respectable record in the Big XII. TCU is not to be taken lightly with regards to the big picture. They will be there in the end.

Nevada has a tough stretch of games coming up at Hawaii, at Idaho, and at Fresno St. with a home game against Utah St. in that mix. If they get through that stretch unscathed, then Boise St's resume looks that much better with a top 10-15 team scheduled late in the season. Meanwhile, Va Tech seems to have regained their old form as an ACC favorite.

I don't think Bama can overcome that with the 1-loss and a SEC championship. It'll be splitting hairs at that point. That is, of course, if the Big XII, Pac10, AND the BigTen are all representing one loss teams which I think is all likely to happen.

Sure, the nation will want the ideal matchup of Oregon vs. Nebraska or some shit like that, but TCU and Boise St. just might pull it off this season as long as their non-conference opponents finish strong.

Unfortunately, I think Rump meant it.

If that "tough stretch of games" compares with playing any 4 SEC games or any 4 Big 10 games in a row...then, yes...I give up. Life is now meaningless.

You and JON are both stupid to believe I was making any kind of comparison between the WAC and a BTPFC. I was speaking in relative terms. Idaho, Hawaii, and Fresno St. all have winning records up to this point of the season, so in WAC terms this is a tough stretch of road games for Nevada. It'd be like what Bama just went through with Arkansas, Florida, and South Carolina. For Nevada, it's on a smaller scale but tough no less.

All I was pointing out was if Nevada made it through that stretch without a loss, then their ranking would continue to climb. That would give Boise St's SOS an unexpected boost late in the season if they go to Reno and win.

And JON, you continue to talk about shit you know absolutely nothing about. Hawaii went to a BCS bowl a few years ago and Fresno St. continues to put together a string of solid seasons and are a well respected mid-major football program.

I'll give you Idaho (with the exception of last season) and Utah St. having shit programs for quite some time now, but don't spew off that jizz-filled mouth of yours a dumb comment that will give you the Board Bitch Award after ToeJam has already put in his time for it.

I'm sure Nevada would love to trade out Fresno St, Idaho, and Hawaii for Eastern Michigan, Tulane, and New Mexico if it meant they could have a perfect season going into the Boise St. game. Some things never change.

Over the past 10 years UW is 3-5 against tOSU. During the same time frame Iowa is 1-5 against tOSU.

Nice post, dipshit. Wow, they went to the BCS a few years ago (and got rolled). What in the fuck does that have to do with this year????

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THIS YEAR, CORKY.

This is what you said, idiot.........

This is not a true statement and only a complete fucking fool like yourself would believe it to be.

They don't have a tough stretch of games. There's no such thing as a tough stretch of games in their conference. It's not "tough relatively speaking". Stop defending a team that doesn't have to accomplish jack shit in order to win a bunch of games.

God you're fucking dumb. I'm drunk as shit right now and even in my intoximicated state I know what a fucking idiot you are.

Got anything else?

Iowa is 8-1 in the last 9 vs Penn State
will be 4-3 in the last 7 against Michigan
after next week it will be 3 straight double digit wins over Wisconsin.

You beat nobody. Once every 4 fucking years you beat a quality team in conference. You lost to MSU, you're going to lose to tOSU, and you're gonna lose to Iowa. Then you'll run the table and win the Outback Bowl. It's like a fucking broken record.

Wow, congrats on your 3 quality wins in conference over the last 10 fucking years. Ooooooohhhheeeeeee!

Is this what you posted?

Please tell me what this means, fucknut. You're clearly stating here that Nevada is playing the worst teams to ever play the game of football. I was just pointing out that you are wrong...once again. What a surprise.

If they are the worst teams in college football then why do all of them have winning records except one. I'm not validating their wins as BTPFC wins, but they are winning football games, so how does that make them the worst in football. 'Cus that is what you're basing your argument on is discrediting my "tough stretch of games" by stating Fresno St, Idaho, Hawaii, and Utah St. are the worst teams in college football.

You're wrong, fuckface, plain and simple. Again, what a surprise.

Hawaii is generally a winning program, the same goes for Fresno St, and Idaho had a winning season last year. All of these teams have winning records this season, so please explain to me how your statement has any validity.

Yeah that's it man. Those teams you listed don't suck. They're really good. They'd beat Iowa by 50. Maybe 60.

Always love a moron that tries justifying a mid-major schedule by saying garbage like "well those teams are pretty good teams". No they're not. They're horrible football teams. I was obviously exaggerating when I called them the worst teams ever. If you had any intelligence whatsoever you would realize that. Those teams you listed SUCK. They're fucking terrible, now shut up.

That's not what you said though, is it?

Also, I'm not justifying Hawaii and Fresno St. as being top-teir football programs. I said they were solid programs in a mid-major sense, which is who Nevada plays every year. I was speaking in relative terms, tough guy.

That was hilarious. ABC was going to commercial and they did a close up on this fatass Wisconsin cheerleader. I believe it was the 2007 game in Madison. It was especially funny because she was a Wisconsin cheerleader.
