Might be roomy for a couple of midgets. The idea of taking my house with me when I travel was never appealing. Can't see how plunking down so much capital outlay could be worth it, and that is a tiny one compared to some of the Greyhound bus sized units I see down here.

From an economic standpoint motor homes and such are a poor value. You have this engine / transmission infrastructure you pay for and it sits there doing nothing the majority of the time.

If you are traveling during the day, staying one night and moving on ..great..but if you stay more than one day, you have no transpo other than your house on wheels..fucking brilliant I think..

I will just keep my used paid for 28 foot travel trailer, that I use about 10 to 12 times per year..just pull it behind my pickup, drop it and hook it all up, then get in my truck and go do my fishing or what ever...I have my lodging and my transpo and a fuck of a lot more free cash than those motor homes..

Pretty badass I think.

And to help make the payments you can transport cash to all the banks in your area.

^^^ I don't know which is more cold blooded, the original story or Imus' irony.

I realize you're like Wilt the Stilt and stuff, but 6'5" is enough headroom for most people.

You don't find the idea of taking your house with you very appealing, and yet you complain that this thing's tiny compared to the bus size units. Care to make up your mind?

Those huge things are mostly fluff. Why would one or two people need anything that big? The Roamer has plenty of head room, a California King sized bed and it can go one fuck of a lot of places where those busses couldn't get within 200 miles.

Nice, but not enough headroom.

I never said that I'd buy one. Just that I wouldn't mind getting one for Christmas.

Besides, they have a 10,000 lb towing capacity, so if you're not going back country you could probably stick your Lotus on one of those two wheel tow trailers and take your local transportation with you. Or haul a couple of dirt bikes.

BTW, they also make a $110,000 Jeep with a pop-up tent.

I don't fucking think so.

*Ahem*...Pursuant to section 1.2-iii of the CC&Rs, recreational vehicles, camper shells and trailers that contain amenities that encourage or provide means for generalized-slumber or napping are not authorized to be given or received as a Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa or Ramadan gifts, as December is a historically low travel month, resulting in possible excessive periods of curbside parking.

Sincerely,
Your Henderson HOA

I left Henderson 11 years ago. In my Fallbrook neighborhood I could paint my house pink and lime green, park a semi in the front yard and raise llamas if I wanted to.

I don't want to, but I could.

Gotta be a heck of a sensation to awake in the morning after backing this thing right up to the edge of the Grand Canyon, with the platform unfolded over the edge.
Yeah, and it looks to me like it would tip over backwards if you moved to the back of the tent. The front end's prolly heavier than even you and fataholic put together, so I guess there's really not too much danger of that happening.

But if both their bodies were pounding and heaving in sync, as they most assuredly do often and with fervor, then how far down the cliff would they roll before they realized that last sharp bounce was not just another fart?

Ah ponder me that, wise ones.

It's not just the front end. There's enough weight between the axles to where you would need the fat moped twins to flip that thing over.

Plane tickets, Margaritas on the beach and Theater tickets are a 'poor value' too you blubbering dunderhead.
