Top 25
1.Oregon
2.Boise State
3.Michigan State
4.Auburn
5.Utah
6.TCU
7.Oklahoma
8.Wisconsin
9.Alabama
10.Ohio State
11.Iowa
12.Stanford
13.LSU
14.Nebraska
15.Florida State
16.Arizona
17.Oklahoma State
18.Arkansas
19.Missouri
20-25 (I'm desperate for finding worthy teams at this point)
20.Texas?
21.West Virginia???
22.South Carolina......I suppose
23.Southern Cal.......sure, why not?
24.Michigan?
25.Miami? Completely out of teams now

Close calls- Nobody. Seriously, the rest of the country is very mediocre. I would even argue the bottom 4-5 teams in the Top 25 are mediocre.

Thumbs Up:
-Kentucky.....Getting absolutely owned and rally to win. Nice win for that shit program.
-Wisconsin.....Didn't think they had it in them, but then again a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. They can't win 2 big games in a row. Bielema just doesn't have it in him.
-Texas.......Punking Nebraska on their way out the door deserves some props. Especially in Lincoln.
-Minnesota for firing Tim Brewster (allegedly)......Never shoulda hired this guy. I knew he was a tool and would fail from Day 1. He's a jerkoff and he only got the Minnesota job because he made up some shit about talking to Iowa State about their head coaching gig so that he could get his name out there. Minnesota fell for it because they're Minnesota.

Thumbs Down:
-Iowa's 4th quarter defense and effort......No excuse for that shit.
-South Carolina and Spurrier........One of the biggest collapses of the year, and what the fuck was Spurrier thinking at the end? You're the better team. Take the field goal and win it in OT. That's just dumb, and this comes from one of the biggest Steve Spurrier fans around.
-Iowa State........my goodness, it's just never gonna happen for ISU. It's gotten so bad that I can't even find it in me to root against them or laugh at the misery. They have given up 110 points in the last 7 quarters and have been outscoured 155-34 against 3 ranked teams this year.
-Ohio State.......learn how to cover a kick for crying out loud.

Potential Week 8 upsets:

Michigan State at Northwestern (trap game for Sparty. better not look too far ahead to Iowa)
Washington at Arizona

Those are really the only "upsets" I could think of.

BCS Bowl Projections:

BCS Title Game: Oregon vs Boise State
Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs TCU
Fiesta Bowl: Iowa vs Oklahoma
Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs Pittsburgh
Orange Bowl: Florida State vs Auburn

Other bowls of note:
CapitalOne: Michigan State vs South Carolina
Outback: Wisconsin vs Florida
Cotton: Nebraska vs LSU
Gator: Michigan vs West Virginia (that would be pretty sweet)
Holiday: Oklahoma State vs Arizona

Don't flatter yourselves. Given the crazy battles between NU/MSU over the years, I assure you the Cardiac Cats won't be overlooked. Besides, Illinois was supposed to be the trap game. In fact, every game except Iowa will be a "trap" game. :meds:
3.Michigan State
I see what you're doing here. I'm on to you.

Lemme get this straight.

You have Mizzou ranked behind:

-A one loss Iowa team that stepped on its dick in the Arizona desert
-A one loss Stanford team that got turbo-clocked by Oregon at Autzen
-An undefeated LSU team (no bitch here)…
-A one loss Nebraska team – aka The Greatest Team in BTPCFB History and now currently enjoying 2nd Place in the North
-A one loss Florida State team that got run off of Owen Field by the Sooners
-A one loss Arizona team that got punked by Oregon State at home…
-An undefeated Oklahoma State team (no grump there either; the Pokes are pretty good)
-And a TWO FREAKING LOSS Arkansas team that just had 65 FUCKING POINTS hung on them?!

Judas-fucking-Priest, JON, is there NO fucking intelligent life in Iowa?!

And you people openly wonder why we laugh at your state.

Just fucking die already wouldja, Loser?

I thought the Illini would give them more trouble than they did but their young dual-threat QB went "Shoelace" and made some awful mistakes. Sparty preyed on their miscues like they did against the Wolverines last week.

3.Michigan State
I see what you're doing here. I'm on to you.

I wouldn't put them that high yet. They're a Big Ten contender for sure. Beat Iowa and I can put them at the big boy's table without question. Oregon-Auburn is my 1-2 right now. The Wisconsin win looks better after Bucky beat OSU. The Michigan win will lose steam each week.

I wouldn't either. JON's only stroking MSU cack since that game at Kinnick is looming, and so he can justify it as some monumental win if/when it happens. Painfully obvious and self-serving M.O. If he actually thought MSU was top 3 material he wouldn't have them deflating to the Crapital One.

I don't rank the teams based on how they will end up. There is a difference.

I think MSU loses to Iowa and I would honestly not be surprised if either Northwestern or Penn State beats them. They will end up 11-1 or 10-2. If they go 11-1, they're going to need to either beat Iowa or hope Iowa loses 2 more games. If Sparty goes 11-1 and Iowa goes 10-2 but Iowa beats MSU, Iowa will go to the BCS. I would guarantee it. If MSU beats Iowa, the Hawkeyes are pretty much eliminated from BCS contention UNLESS they win the rest of their games AND Ohio State loses to someone else.

I ranked the teams based on what I've seen to THIS POINT. Do I think MSU is the 3rd best team in the country? Eh, probably not. But do you think there's really all that much difference between MSU and Oklahoma, Auburn, etc? I don't. Not right now at least. For all we know they could lose 3-4 of their remaining games. Or they could win out.

The reason I have MSU going to the CapitalOne Bowl is because I think, even though I have them ranked ahead of Iowa, I expect Iowa to win that game- though I certainly would not be shocked if MSU won. And like I said above, if Iowa beats MSU, I think they're unlikely to make it to the BCS.

I'm not stroking MSU's cock because I have some sort of motive. Some of you read way too much into my predictions WAY too much. The Iowa-MSU game is going to be HUGE regardless of where I have them ranked. There's really no way around that fact. This doesn't make it seem any bigger of a game. MSU will be Top 10 (unless they lose to Northwestern) coming into Iowa City with a potential BCS and Big-10 title on the line. How much bigger can it possibly get? This game doesn't need me to overhype it.

And don't kid yourself.........Northwestern IS a trap game and it's possibly the only real trap game on your schedule. I could care less about past performances against Northwestern. The Iowa game next week is the BIGGEST game MSU has played in probably 20 years.......if you beat Northwestern. Northwestern is a team you SHOULD beat. But you're not stamping your ticket to the BCS with a win over Northwestern. The Big-10 title goes through Iowa City because all 3 of the non-Iowa contenders still have to play at Kinnick and that is the only remaining game each of the top teams have left against a quality team. This isn't me being a Hawkeye homer here......this is a fact. Let's face it.......Northwestern isn't going to get a team fired up like going to Kinnick and potentially putting your program in a position they haven't been in for years.

You just named 8 teams Mizzou would get rolled by.

Good lord, you haven't played ANYONE all year. You are Missouri. You will collapse once the pressure is on like you ALWAYS do. You're gonna have to show me more than what you've done. Beating Colorado, A&M and god only knows who the fuck those OOC teams were just won't fly with me.

Claiming teams with losses should be ranked behind you because of those losses ONLY works if you're playing similar schedules. The teams in front of you haven't faced those same teams and you haven't faced their schedules. I have caught bits and pieces of Mizzou and they seem like a decent team. They won't beat OU and they won't beat Nebraska. In fact, neither of those games will be very close.

How's about you Mizzou fans quit with this shit every year? Wait until you beat someone with a freakin pulse and then talk your smack? I need proof you're a really good team before I can rank them that high. All of those teams you whined about have played MUCH tougher schedules. Trust me, if you go out and beat OU this week (or even play them down to the wire and lose), you'll get props from me and I will bump them in my poll. I gotta see it first, though. Is that really all that unreasonable?

Good Lord, JON, you're Iowa, for Gawd's sake.

Iowa!

You people don't beat anybody...

Too funny...

Obvious Troll is obvious.....

Is this tard Wags' troll job??

Arguing with a Mizzou fan is a waste of time.

You're right dude, Mizzou is awesome. You're always awesome. Iowa is horrible. We can't ever beat anyone at all and the Big-10 always sucks, while the Big-12 North is a fucking meatgrinder every year. Bla bla bla.

And a jibbering idiot is still a jibbering idiot…

White flag much, Loser?

Week in, week out, I could give a fuck how you people finish. Doesn’t matter. Your brand of football is completely unwatchable. Your over-rated Loser conference will go 2-6 as usual during bowl season, and we’ll once again hear all the national pundits say, “What happened?”

I’ll tell you what happened.

The Big Ten is the most over-rated football conference in America.

A third-place finish in the North would actually be a step up for you Losers.

Just die, JON.

what do you mean will be? Hell he already is. In fact he's so good that he plays for the cubbie bears on Saturday and flies to NE and doubles as Tom Brady.
