Former NFL linebacker Junior Seau, who was arrested early this morning on domestic violence charges, is reportedly hospitalized after driving his SUV off a cliff.
TMZ is reporting that Seau drove his SUV off a cliff in Carlsbad, California, this morning, just hours after he was released from the Vista Detention Facility. He survived the crash but was injured and transported to a local hospital.
A photo that appears to show Seau's SUV at the bottom of a cliff near a beach has been published by TMZ.
Seau is in his first year of retirement from the NFL after playing his 20th and final NFL season in 2009 for the Patriots. He has always had a reputation as a pillar of the community, and his Seau Foundation raises money for child abuse prevention and college scholarships, among other causes.
What a shocker. Another "pillar of the community" exposed.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.
Looks like Seau's bitch is around 25 years old. Only a matter of time before she Steve McNair's him.

Looks like Junior was getting tired of seeing "Lights Off" Merriroid leading him in the "Charger linebacker who's life is a clusterfuck" category and decided to step his game up.

Tell me you guys aren't really this stupid.
Are you trying to say that Seau's life is not now a clusterfuck?

Seau is not a Charger. In fact, he's not playing for any NFL team. Furthermore, the last two teams he's played for were not the Chargers. He's very removed from being a Charger. And yet, you referred to him as a "Charger linebacker" in the present tense:
You people do realize that I was speaking in the loosest sense possible by saying that Seau was a Charger. Like saying that Marcus is a Raider running back or that Montana is a 49er QB. We all know they ended their careers elsewhere, but that the bulk of their accomplishments were with the Raiders and 49ers.

No guardrails or something to keep the cars 'in play?' Perhaps Dins can weigh in on the pros and cons of such devices on narrow roadways with 100+ foot drops.

No, he's saying you're dumber than you think he thinks you are

What I'm saying is that your mental capacity is about comparable to a used Handiwipe. Seau hasn't been a Charger for eight years, but if you want to continue thinking he is one, go right ahead. Coogs seems to think that he lost to the Rams (could it be the LA Rams?) last weekend. What do you think?
You also might want to consider the proper usage of "who's" and "whose". If you want to think you got that right too, it's up to you.

Well, you got me with that epic grammar smack. Dinsdale be upon you and all that.
You'll have to forgive me for not thinking like a Charger Fan. Apparently you guys don't think of a guy who played 13 years with your team, making All Pro squads and 12 Pro Bowls, as one of your own. It would be one thing were he still playing in New England, but now that he's retired (and ringless just like your GM), you would think Charger fans would be a little more gracious.

Gracious?
One side of your mouth says he's the leading contender in in the "Charger linebacker who's life is a clusterfuck" derby.
The other side of you mouth says he's "a guy who played 13 years with your team, making All Pro squads and 12 Pro Bowls".
So which is it? Clusterfuck, or all time great linebacker who deserves "graciousness"?
You need to make up your mind. I don't really give a shit.

Wrong again Mikey. Light's Off is still leading by a mile. Say Ow My Fucking Car Just Went Off A Cliff has a way to go. What I said was; "Looks like Junior was getting tired of seeing "Lights Off" Merriroid leading him in the "Charger linebacker who's life is a clusterfuck" category and decided to step his game up."

Both. He's a clusterfuck who still deserves some respect from you guys.

Define "bulk", B. Spot on Seau and Montana, but 45 of Marcus Allen's 123 career rushing touchdowns came in the Red and Gold uniform that he wore for five years AFTER the Crypt Keeper quit on him.
Maybe YOU remember him as a Raider...
We don't.

Would you settle for the definition of "bilk" instead?

Pretty normal in CA/OR/WA. It adds sport to narrow, twisty mountain roads when there's heavy snowfall.
No heavy snowfall this time of year... which is a good thing, since I'm suppose to be in Las Vegas tomorrow afternoon, and last I checked, I don't have a plane ticket. Guess I better get a move-on, and start making that long drive through the most desolate, unpopulated place in the country, aka The Middle Of Nowhere.

No real need for guardrails where Junior left the road.
It's a straight, divided 4 lane highway (PCH actually) with wide shoulders for parking in a lot of the area. People park on the side of the road there and walk to the beach, and they've been driving that stretch for years without needing guardrails.
has anyone suggested yet that this was a suicide attempt? I mean it looks like he may have tried to kill himself. Definately one of the most overrated defensive players of our time, with his stupid little scream after each tackle. He's up there with Zack Thomas in terms of being overhyped.
