The BSmack Wisdom Teeth Film Festival

I got my wisdom teeth yanked today, so I had some serious time to be drugged up and watching the tube. So I'm having my own little film festival.

Today was the Quentin Tarentino film fest at Casa de BSmack. Kill Bill 1&2 and Jackie Brown were on the lineup today. Tonight was the Led Zeppelin DVD. Tomorrow is going to be Spawn 2 &3 and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

After that is up in the air, since then I will have viewed all the movies in my DVD collection at least once. Likely candidates for late Thursday and Friday viewing are Apocalypse Now Redux, Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii, Pulp Fiction, and Oh Brother Where Art Thou.

So, what movies would you be watching if you had 3 days with nothing to do but pop painkillers and watch the tube?

You've probably recovered at this point B - but Brazil is essential viewing for those combining medication with a pint. Brilliant film.

I'm fairly well recovered. I popped my last Vike last this morning. Dry sockets suck much ass. But I think I can haul my carcass into work tommorow. Though I must say that I'm now tempted to score a 20 sack and view Brazil just on the basis of that freaky ass pic Phibes posted.

The weekend turned into a South Park/Pink Floyd Marathon as I copied all of my season 6 episodes to DVD and watched them with a bonus showing of the Roger Waters- In The Flesh DVD. After that's a little foggy as I got into the Drambouie a little too heavy when the combination of the dry socket pain and the upstairs appartment's 3 year old jumping up and down on the fucking floor got to be too much. I do remember playing the uncensored hip hop channel on Music Choice WAY too loud with a lot of bass somewhere inbetween trying to sleep for 20 hours straight. Hope I offended someone.

HBO produced what I consider to be the best golf movie ever. (I don't consider Caddyshack a golf movie. I put that in the category of comedy or maybe even epic drama :D )

It was called Dead Solid Perfect and I haven't seen it in over a decade. They haven't put it on DVD yet, and I don't know if they ever will because almost nobody knows about. It starred Randy Quaid, who at the time had a pretty sound golf swing and was very believable as a struggling pro who happens to stumble into knew sponsorship.

That would be my first choice if it could be found.

2.) Caddyshack
3.) Blues Brothers
4.) Animal House
5.) First 3 seasons of Family Guy
