Iowa-Wisky

The Badgers are playing Iowa football and doing it better than the Hawkeyes at this point. They're ramming the ball down our throats and eating up the clock. That failed PAT might come into play before this one ends.

BTW -- you'll nevereverever guess which fanbase set themselves up as being the absolute biggest douchebags in the sportsbook this morning?

Go ahead and take a big guess, Mace and Noj... I can give you a big hint if you want, Mace and Noj.

It wasn't even a close contest.

I thought the two hotties in the UDub gear were going to scratch my eyes out after scowling at my shirt. I restrained myself enough to not drop any "Show me your O-Face" smack on them.

If I knew what you were talking about, I probably still wouldn't give a fuck.

I'm having a lovely day watching CFB in Las Vegas...

you know what a sportsbook is, right?

I've seen just about every school you can think of represented today.

And the really super obnoxious douchenheimers were making it very clear they were Hawkeye fans.

BTW -- if you wanna meet some serious BTPCFB honks, hang out in the sportsbook in Vegas on a saturday morning... pretty thick with them/us.

If the guy was placing a bet that Iowa would have 85 first round draft picks this year, you would have known you had the right guy.

John Clay is an absolute BEAST! Looks like this one is going down to the wire and, if so, that blocked extra point and bad snap on the FG will be huge...and not in a good way for Iowa.

Need a stop by the D and then a clock eating drive ending with a TD to hopefully put this one away.

Atta boy, Greenwood...nice INT. Now get another fucking TD and send the fucking Badgers back to Madison.

Settled for a FG, so they're probably going to need yet another score to win this one....barring another Badger turnover.

Wisky put the game on the line with a fake punt with 5 minutes to go....and it worked.

Damn. Wisco just stuffed it down their throats on that drive. Iowa still with plenty of time to win it on a FG.

Damn, down 1 with a minute to go. Need a big return by DJK, if he gets the chance, and move the ball for a FG attempt by an untested kicker who, if he makes it, will never have to buy another beer in Iowa City. Hope Stanzi still has a little magic left in him.

Props to the Badgers. Damn, Stanzi should have thrown that last one away or, as the announcers said, saved that last TO. Oh well, great job by Wisconsin. Now I have to wear that ugly motion W until Wisky loses again. Fuck you, Goobs. :)

That was an embarrassment. Pitiful.

Iowa didn't deserve to win. Nice clock management. Difference in the game was Wisconsin is a smarter football team

I think we can officially end the hype of this Iowa defense. They're not good, they're not average- they're bad. Both losses this year they showed no heart and lost on a lost minute touchdown scored by a team that just flat out wanted it more.

There's really no excuse for these mental mistakes either. Having a PAT blocked, fucking up a snap on a chip shot field goal, false start on a 4th in 1 that you're almost certainly going to get.

And falling for that fake punt was inexcusable. I knew they were faking it. I even tried yelling to the coaches. It was just dumb. Think about the situation- Wisconsin can't stop our offense and Bielema knows this. There is 6 minutes left and you have 1 timeout left- and its Bret Bielema. We didn't need a return or a block. We needed the football back. We get the ball back, the game is over. So what do we do? Drop EVERYONE back to set up a return? Why? Who gives a shit about the return? We just need the damn ball.

Good game Badgers. No doubt the more deserving team won.

The difference in the game was the blocked PAT and the botched FG attempt. Special teams, just like in the Arizona game.

I just emailed Kirk Ferentz and next week you'll be provided with a headset. Problem solved.
Good game Badgers.
Yes it was. They did what they needed to do and walked out with the W. I'm not pleased that Iowa took that last TO when they didn't need to, nor with Stanzi's decision to dump off that last pass to Robinson when an incompletion would have served us better, but there's no guarantee that the freshman kicker would have knocked the ball through the goal posts either. It was a good game to watch and a tough one to lose...for either team. Just happened to be Wisky's day today....just like it was Iowa's on so many Saturdays last season when they pulled out the close ones.

Kirk Ferentz is a good coach but he has horrible clock management. He's actually one of the worst clock managers. If he could just learn simple stuff like that he would be the best coach in the country.
I just don't understand why he's still making stupid clock management decisions after 12 years. He makes up for it in player development.

This defense really misses Norm and our linebackers. We aren't making good 2nd half adjustments like normal and I think Norm not being there has a lot to do with that.

Oh well, it was a ton of fun and a great football game. Pretty obvious these are dead even teams. The difference between them is who makes more mistakes. Today, that was Iowa

Scoreboard says Wisconsin was the better team, but feel free to go put on your pink pumps and be a little bitch about it.

No United Way, you'd just be donating to local Iowa charities. I'll get back to you with either a local Madison food pantry (ie., Second Harvest) or the address for the UW Athletic Department (that was one of the original offers).

Wisconsin IS the better team. They knocked off #1 last week, then beat the Hawkeyes in Iowa City today. Iowa has taken a step back on defense and has no signature wins yet.

Like I said earlier, they were the better team today and that is all that matters. They're not playing a best of 3 series. You won by one fucking point and did what you needed to do. If you're expecting me to suck your dick, forget it.

Never asked or wanted you to suck any dicks. I just figured you'd never be able to admit without equivocation that Wisconsin's the better team. You still believe that Iowa's better. That's a subjective opinion. I believe that Wisconsin's the better team. Also a subjective viewpoint. It's too bad we couldn't have an objective way of determining who's the better team. Like having them play an actual game against each other on a football field.

What a moron. Shut up dude. Anyone watching that game knows that were 2 dead even teams. You have to be god damn stupid to not admit that. It's one of those games where it just simply came down to who made the most mistakes. Today, it happened to be Iowa.

Always love the tard that thinks a god damn 1 point win is absolute proof their team is better. If these teams play 10 times, we split. Each game comes down to mistakes. If you disagree, you're dumb. Period.
Now quit being stupid and classless.

Well, I'm an objective party in this debate. Wisco has a better overall record. They have two signature wins, one being against then #1 in the nation. They beat you in your stadium. You've beaten nobody. You've had two statement games up to this point, Zona and Wisconsin. You lost both. What more do you need? Time to suck it up and admit it, you sack huffing douchecasket.

What more do you need?
We need to beat Michigan State next week and then run the table to finish 10-2, and in a probable 3 way tie for the conference title. THAT'S what we need.

They won by a point. These are dead even teams. As far as our defense taking a sep back- yes, that's correct. However, the ONLY thing that ever stopped Iowa was mistakes on offense. Neither team could stop the other. What would you expect from a defense that is without their 2 best linebackers and defensive coordinator?

Wisconsin is the better team yet they needed to run a late fake punt, block an extra point, Iowa to muck a snap on a chip shot field goal, a false start on a 4th down play that probably leads to a touchdown, an illegal motion on what would have been an easy 1st and goal instead of 3rd and 10, etc. to win by 1 point.

Think about that for a second- if just one of those doesn't happen, Iowa wins.

So in a game where EVERY break just went their way and they win by 1 point, they are definitely the better team? You guys are smarter than that.

You couldn't possibly find more even teams than Iowa and Wisconsin and no one in their right minds could possibly say that EITHER team was better.

1 point game, folks.
