I'm trying to drag a picture from a diskette to my desktop and I'm getting this error message...

(title in the blue bar)Error copying file or folder

(body of the window)Cannot copy XXXX: Error performing inpage operation

What the hell is that all about? There are 3 pictures on the diskette, but I'm only having trouble (and getting this message) for one of them. I was able to drag the other two successfully.

Try

right click copy

right click paste

it was written to a bad sector on the floppy.
you may have trouble retrieving it because it's unable to be read.
