The Meat Grinder East

The SEC is a little down this year but the level of suck in the East is unreal...
that Georgia team who Florida barely beat in overtime yesterday was MANHANDLED by the Big 12's WORST team in Colorado (3-5 overall, 0-4 in the Big 12, and has been outscored 127 to 59 in conference play).
Tennessee is 2-6 and it's only wins are against an FBS division school (Tennessee-Martin) and in overtime against a 3-5 Alabama-Birmingham at home; they've been beat by double digits 5 times this year and we're only eight games into the season.
Vanderbilt is 2-6 with one of its wins being against a directional school and has lost to teams like Northwestern (at home) and Connecticut (4-4 and 1-2 in the Big East).
Kentucky has a losing record (4-5) and it's only wins, other than against fellow SEC east opponent South Carolina, are against non BCS conference schools.
Florida has lost every single match up against SEC west opponents and has not played a single competitive team outside of conference. The Gators have only played two teams that even have a pulse (Alabama and LSU) and lost both games; one of them very decisively to Alabama. Also lost to Mississippi freakin' State at home.
South Carolina is about the only school in the east who has even looked halfway decent on paper and still might not win the division depending on the outcome of the Florida match up.
The SEC East has exactly one marquee win between six teams on the entire season and that is South Carolina's upset over Alabama where they promptly turned around the next week and lost to Kentucky.
Only South Carolina has even made it to being bowl eligible and we are nine weeks into the college football season... in contrast to the SEC West which has five of six teams already bowl eligible, The Big 12 South with 3 (and played tougher schedules than the SEC East has out of conference), Big 12 North with 2, and Pac 10 with 3.
After looking at their schedules even more closely I just realized that there is not a single SEC East team who has won an out of conference game against a BCS conference opponent. The SEC East is 0-4 against non-conference BCS conference schools.
