read in the paper today where Oakland rookie LB McClain said he wasn't doing interviews unless the Raiders could sell out the mausoleum on Sunday against the Chiefs.

Sorry Raider fan, yet another blackout.

Yes, McClain with a certified 'tard olympics comment there.

as for the game... shit, Raiders have been kicking some ass lately. Not sure how or why, but something has apparently clicked. Used to be, when playing the 'duhs, you just played it close to the vest and waited for them to self-implode. But that may not be the case these days.

Not gonna' post a prediction yet, but this game actually means something for the first time in years. Should be a good one, if not near epic.

I miss the days of flaming out with Raiderfan, old stalwarts like Toos, Mal, James... I hope fuckers like that awaken from their stupor and wake this forum up, if just for one week.

And 'tart, I absolve you from your rash words about not commenting about the Raiders again. We all knew you were full of shit anyway. Comment away.

No detailed breakdown of the game, but it's a helluva good matchup and very nice that it actually means something this time around.

You mean Oakland is at the midway point of the season and not mathematically eliminated?
WOWZ!!

KC is going to continue to play Martyball.
Grind with the running game all day, play mistake-free, play good special teams, bend some but don't break on defense - keep it all in front of you.

It's going to come down to Oakland scoring pts., and perhaps scoring early to get their nose out in front - to force KC to throw more than they want - leading to pressure, noise, sacks, Cassel pants-shitting, turnovers, and overall Raiduh MAYHEM.

If that happens, Oakland can win this game - and get to 5-4 and 3-0 in the division.
It'd be HUGE.

If KC imposes, stops the Raider offense, gets into comfortable Martyball mode - they win.

I'll call an Oakland win, as I think they have more horses - prolly something like 27-16.

The Raiders probably aren't going to stop KC's running game but a major key to a Silver & Black win will be slowing it down. If Nnamdi doesn't play, it's tough but not a game breaker since KC doesn't have a great passing game. But they've got to slow down. Thomas Jones is looking like one of the top FA pickups of the year. I still think a great running team is going to give Oakland fits. The past two weeks the Raiders jumped out to leads and their opponent went to the passing game, playing right into the Raiders' hands. Last week the D-line was getting open shots left and right on the QB.

The O-line has looked better but don't be fooled into thinking these guys are suddenly elite. Denver and Seattle aren't that strong up front. The line is going to have to give Campbell protection and the Raiders running game, which is the big reason Campbell has looked good the past two weeks, must continue with McFadden, Bush, and Reece (this guy's doing it all out of the FB position).

This is exactly right.

Oakland's D-Line is very good at penetration and disruption.
Not so good at holding ground and putting up a fence.

They got shredded on the ground v. Houston.
If you look at Houston, you see a team that got Oakland on it's heels because they had both a passing and running threat.

KC is very one-demensional.

Can Oakland penetrate and disrupt the Chef running game, such that they get them into many 2nd and long and 3rd and long situations - where they can then try to tee off on Cassel like they did to Hasselbeck and Orton?

Or will KC make yards steadily on 1st down - allowing them to keep hammering away with the run game?

It'll be very interesting to watch it play out.

Yeah, I'm definitely concerned about it.

I gave up on the 'duhs after the Houston game because it was the same ol' that I've seen for 7 years.
Shredded v. the run.

Right now I have to take them seriously because they've played their way into an important game.
They've done a helluva job the last 2 weeks and have won 3 of 4.

I've seen all of their games, and since that time, they really have done a better job v. the run.
And the last two weeks they were real good - but of course it was Dungver and Seattle - who both have poor running games - and they both also got down early, playing right into Oakland's hands.

Gore got 149, but in watching the game, Oakland's defense did a good job until they were left on the field too long - Campbell sucked donkey 'nad that game and couldn't buy a first down.
Then Gore finally busted off a 64 yarder.
If the Raiders offense doesn't move the ball and score pts., yep, I could see KC doing just what SF (and others - Tennessee, Houston) have done.
Keep slamming with the run - 'til it breaks open.

I think the game goes one of two ways.

1. KC wins close - by succeeding with Martyball
2. Oakland jumps KC's shit early, like they did Seattle and Dungver, and wins a semi-blow-out

I don't think the Raiders win this game close.
If it's close, KC Chinese Water Tortures Oakland with the run game and wins ugly - but happy.

Riddle me this, Butt-Munches… We all gonna be all civil ‘n junk when the Division comes down to Week 17 at Arrowhead?

It’s gonna be Old School, do-rag v. straw-hat with RaiderFan and ChiefFan at one another’s throats.

As it should be.

Christ-in-a-Camaro, you Losers wanna make nice with Division rivals, chat with ChargerFan. Those silly fuckers are too busy eating canapés or votin’ for weed smokin’ ordinances or whatever those sorry-ass fuckin’ Losers do as an excuse not to attend games at the Murph.

IT’S RAIDERS-CHIEFS, FUCKSTICKS. And we both got shit on the line.

Beat Oakland, and the Chiefs put a strangle-hold on the Division, with the rest of this lame-ass Division playin’ catch-up.

Beat Kansas City, and the Raiders all-of-a-sudden find themselves in the cat-bird seat with games-in-hand victories against all three Division rivals.

Yeah, we’re all giddy from better-than-expected starts this season, but this ain’t no time for civil discourse.

The Chiefs are gonna roll the Drive-Bys in their Crack Hole and return every one of those meth-snorting-battery-chucking-hub-cap-stealing-low-rider-driving-liquor-store-looting-soup-kitchen-eating-primer-n-grease-loser-fans back to the bridge-underpass-squatting and homeless-shelter-dwelling obscurity that we’ve all come to love-and know.

This game is pretty easy to analyze. Charles and Jones each run for over 100 yards, with a little bit of Jackie Battle mixed in just to pour salt on that gaping wound. The Faiduhs' front 7 have proven adept at getting to the enemy QB, but that won't be an issue when we look like some of those Big Red Huskers teams of the 90s curb-stomping Faiduh ASSES up and down that field. I don't even care which QB they roll out on Sunday....the usual Faiduh 10+penalties and turnovers they always do will be the death of them once again.

The Chiefs have won SEVEN straight games in that POS excuse for a NFL stadium, and we'll make it EIGHT on Sunday. FaidahFan, you'll always be our bitches.

Things are pretty rough on the Raider injury front.
Not looking great for this game.

Starting QB - OUT.
Top cornerback - prolly OUT.
Very good TE - prolly OUT.
Starting WR - OUT.
Well, and our #1 receiver and best run-stopping DT are both OUT, and have been out for weeks.
Others dinged by prolly playing.

Queefs, the AFC juggernaut that thy are, ought to win by about 40.

Have no idea how Oakland can even hang in this one.

Just like we all predicted, the top two rushing teams had their way with the opposing defense all day. Oh, wait.

So much for predictions, unless you were the one guy in the world who thought a little known 4th round pick was going to be the game breaker. We needed Jacoby Ford (148 yards through the air, 150+ in return yardage) with top receivers Murphy and Miller out and DHB 0 for 5 on balls thrown his way.

Can someone seriously fire Jeff Triplette and his band of misfits? Jesus, that guy's a tool.

Raiders now 3-0 againt Dungver, Kansas Shitty. and the Dolts. Feels good.

Apparently the NFL is only five seasons old in your world. Pity you missed out on all those swell years that Horseface lead your long over-rated bag-of-suck town out of obscurity.

The AFC West IS Chiefs-Raiders. Enjoy your plunge back into insignificance, Loser.

Oh, and props to Oakland. The Chiefs managed to out-Raider the Raiders on Sunday, and with the predictable result. See you in Arrowhead come January, Fucksticks....

It was a lot more than that.

KC, the top rushing team in the league, had 5 3rd-and-1's in the game and didn't convert a single one of them.

Oakland's front 7 did a friggin' JOB, as they've been doing the last 5 games.

Don't look now, but the Raider defense is becoming one of the better ones in the league.
