Heh. I had just finished looking over the slate of TV games tomorrow and thinking how shitty a lineup it is, and then I saw this thread. Veterans Day or no, I'm pretty sure that if there were even a halfway decent game to put at the top of the Pick Em, it'd be there. But tomorrow is shaping up to be total shite. There's not a single game that looks more appealing than three hours of Black Ops.







BTW, now that I've said this, all those unappealing games will probably turn out to be super-exciting and come down to the final play...

it's nothing compared to the Beatles. they release Sgt. Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, and the White double LP in 67-68. 4 LP sides in a year and a half with a dozen or so singles like Lady Madonna, Rain, and Ballad of John and Yoko in the mix.

look at a half-ass outfit like U2. Bono spent most of the 90's complaining that the U was better than the Beatles.....and really? 4 LP sides for U2 is 5-6 years.

It was a really cool game day atmosphere. My father took me to a few games and this was before they were really the suck; they were at least competitive back then. I was a tad too little to really be able to appreciate it though.
