Bill Belichick

He should play the tape of last week's game vs the Browns on an endless loop in the locker room for the rest of the year. I'll never say a loss is a GOOD thing but they MUST have viewed last week as a wake up call. BB surely used it as such. The Patriots did some motherfucking WORK tonight against the Steelers.

The Steelers are finally starting to miss Aaron Smith in the run game. Law Firm may have only rushed for 87 yards, but they were 87 quality yards. Compounding the problem was that the Pats kept Brady's uni clean. Not a good combination. All props to you fucking Chowds.

A win is a win but BB better get those kids to play some better D.

Looks like the kids on D might be getting a bit from their 'on the job' training this season. I've thought the Jets were a bit of a Cinderella so far this year but the Patriots proved it.

The Patriots once again look head and shoulders better than the rest of the league. I don't think anyone really believe's Atlanta can roll them. This season the Jets defense looks very average, maybe below avaerage. At last nights press conference Rex looked like his father Buddy, saying they'll fix what's wrong. That's a lot of fixin'. Like Buddy who was over matched by Joe Gibbs & Bill Parcells, its clear Rex is over matched by Belichick. Cue the may be a contender, but really is a pretender troll.

I think both Philly and the Packers could give the Pats a good game.

Joe -- The Jets have split the last 4 contests against NE with Ryan at the helm.

Let's not crown the Patriots because of one friggin' game. The defense was ranked 31st heading into last night's game. The offense looks amazing. I am still not sold on this defense.

Bill - Buddy Ryan beat the Redskins & Giants too, but not so much in games to determine division champion or in the playoffs. NE's defensive numbers are somewhat misleading, they are very good at taking away what a team likes to do. NE wasn't fooled by the Jets offensive game plan in the least.

Beating the crap out of the Steelers in Pittsburgh put the league on notice, Brady & the Patriots are back.
I think both Philly and the Packers could give the Pats a good game.
I agree Jim.

Any given Sunday - shit, the Patriots lost to the Browns this year. Anyway, I'm just pleased that the D looks like it's improving. There's a lot of young talent on the Pats roster, especially on defense. Although the stats don't show it, I believe this defense is coming along. If they can start to come up with 1-2 more stops on D per game, I think the Patriots chances GREATLY improve overall. As we saw Monday, the Patriots offense can roll.

Snow games are not a great way to evaluate a teams overall performance HOWEVER; it can tell you a lot about how well a team prepares. Patriots are 11-0 in snow games under BB? Crazy. Also, Brady tied 'Dandy' Don's NFL record with his 6th straight game with 2+ TD's & no picks. Impressive. And DON'T look now but Devin McCourty might be in the hunt for NFL defensive rookie of the year. The kid is playing really solid at corner and the defense continues to look better.

Pat's DBs are making an awful lot of tackles, usually not a good thing.

If you DON'T look at TJ Ward, I suppose you could make a case.

Quack Quack.

And a Duck lost the award to a juicer last year, which was a travesty.

You know who isn't making a lot of tackles? Brandon Spikes.

Mayo has 148 tackles. The other ILB, your boy, 61.

Dude, I've told you that a Dinsdale "can't miss" NFL endorsement of a CFB star is the kiss-of-death, right?

But he's surely not "my boy." He's an SEC Douche, the antithesis to "my boy."

My Boy is #2 in tackles on your team... Quack Quack.

Your boy or no, you certainly were pimping that dude like he was going to be something special. Besides making pornos and getting caught for juicing, Spikes hasn't really done anything to stand out. So... yes, you were right about being wrong, if that makes any sense.

Cheung is a hitter and hasn't been caught out of position too much. He's improved by leaps and bounds this year. QQMF indeed.

Dude, never underestimate my Kiss of Death... it's ruined careers before they ever got started.

It's Chung.

Youngest 5 year CFB player ever drafted (showed up for his redshirt freshman year at O at age 16).

And he hits awfully hard for a man his size, and always had a nose for the ball, even at 17.

A win is a win but WOW did the Pats show they were in 'letdown' mode. The upside, besides the win, is that it gives the hoodie PLENTY of ammo to beat this team over the head with in the film room. Also, the Patriots had a TON of D-lineman inactive last night. I thought BB might have gotten caught trying to get some 'nicked up' players healthy for the next game, but they pulled it out.

Not bad for a team that had a variety of players inactive and/or sick with the flu. Brady is straight ROLLING right now while he's throwing to a compliment of receivers , not just one malcontent. Funny graphic I saw during yesterday's game: Danny Woodhead has more grabs, yards and TD's receiving than Moss since BB traded him to Minny. That patchwork D-line needs to get healthy before the playoffs but it was enough to handle a 15th straight victory over the Bills. The secondary looked decent and oh, by the way, the AFC Playoffs go through New England this year!

Great season for the Hoodie & Crew. Here's what got done as of Sunday: (all are NFL Records)

By Brady:

• 28 consecutive regular-season wins at home as a starter.

• 335 straight passes without an interception.

• 9 games with at least two touchdown passes and no interceptions.

Brady also became one of six quarterbacks (Dan Marino did it twice) to throw at least one touchdown pass in each game since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978. He finished with the fifth-best passer rating in NFL history (111.0).

By the Patriots:

• Fewest turnovers (10) committed in a 16-game season. Also a +28 on the turnover ratio.

• Fewest interceptions (5) in a season, tie, four by Brady and one by Brian Hoyer.

• Eight straight games scoring 30 points or more, tying the record set in 2000 by the St. Louis Rams and tied in 2007 by the Patriots.

This stuff is just SICK imho. I am EXTREMELY hopeful that the post season goes as well.

Brady - MVP

BB - Coach of the year.

GO PATRIOTS!!!
