Nice find. When I was a young boy and WW2 was still raging, an uncle gave me an old copy of the Civilian Defense Airplane Spotters Handbook. I memorized all the planes in that book and still enjoy anything that has to do with those planes. I remember when I saw my first jet plane and wondered how it could fly w/o a propeller.
There was a big air show here a while back and I had the pleasure of touring through a B-17 and B-24. This is me by the Flying Fortress. The passage past the bomb racks was a tight one. I wish I had the cash to pay for a ride in one. Maybe next time they come here.
