Tennessee Titans...what a mess

Anybody following their little saga? Vince Young throws a fit last Sunday because Jeff Fisher wouldn't let him get back in the game after a thumb injury, which we know now needs season-ending surgery to fix it. He tossed his shoulder pads and jersey into the home crowd, had a shouting match with Fisher, and left the Titans' locker room before reporters could get to him.

In the postgame presser, Fisher states that VY is no longer his starting QB. On Monday Titans owner Bud Adams says publicly that "They (VY and Fisher) are going to have to work together. I haven't given up on Vince, and I am sure Fisher hasn't either. Vince was upset and said some things he regretted after doing it, but you have to get to the bottom of it, straighten it out and move on. It is one of those things that happened. It has happened, it is all over with and we want to get Vince back and playing again for us. ... These things happen. I have been at this thing for a long time, about 51 years now. I have seen a lot of things happen and I don't want to go jumping off the building over something happening one time."

One time...REALLY??? Vince Young, while he HAS improved his game over the last two years, is a fucking headcase. He's proven it time and time again. Jeff Fisher knows this all too well. Sounds to me like ol' Bud dropped what amounts to an ultimatum on Coach Fisher, and it might come down to choosing between his proven long-time head coach, or his headcase 1st round QB that has yet to win anything of substance for his team.

It seems the Fisher/Young relationship is now beyond reasonable hope of repair, so one of 'em (at least) is not a Titan next season.

As a Titans fan, it pisses me off. Bud Adams pissed me off when he moved my team from Houston and now he's Jerrah Jonesing on of the best coaches in the NFL. I fucking hate Bud Adams, and I wish every STD known to man on him. If he fires Fisher in favor of Vince Young, I will officially become a Colts fan.

You don't know how much OilerFan hates Bud Adams. I'm one of very few who stuck with the team when they moved to Tennessee. Call me a bandwagon fan all you like. Honestly, I have a new respect for RaiduhFan, and not the ones who dress up on Sundays like it is Halloween. I've had enough of Bud Adams.

And how come every time you mention my TVs, the number increases? Well, I do plan on putting 2 more outside. One by the pool and one in the screened in porch by the hot tub and grill.

Hey, all my favorite players were on the team so I stuck with them. I've always hated Bud Adams. I was pissed last year when he demanded Fisher start Young. It worked out last year, but I'm just tired of him. I've been tired of him for so long. I've stuck with my teams through bad times over the years, and nothing has changed on my rooting interest because I could tell the organization as a whole was trying. Adams just seems to want to run the show too much and he doesn't know shit about football.
