Read 'em and weep Tejas loyalists/bootlickers. Yea...Nebraska is just bitter. They didn't in fact see Texas for what it is.

Both of these articles were published on Sunday, November 28, 2010. The first piece we are going to share with you is from Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman. If Chip Brown from Orange Bloods dot com is the #1 distributor of Bevo’s Bullpropaganda, Kirk Bohls is #2.
Check out the rumors Bevo had Bohls drop at the top of his weekly “9 things” column.
KIRK BOHLS IN STATESMAN.com – Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 04:09 PM
“If you’re asking why ESPN is close to finalizing a deal to link up with Texas as its broadcast partner for the new Longhorn television network for exorbitant figures perhaps approaching $15 million a year, it’s because the worldwide leader is hoping to use this platform as a way to leverage – with Texas’ help – a deal to acquire all of the Big 12’s television rights that will be negotiated next spring. And, yes, we all know Texas has clout.”
“If the other nine members of the reconfigured Big 12 don’t go along, Texas hasn’t minded using its power before and could easily reopen talks with the Pac-12 or go independent.”
“ESPN is positioning itself for the inside track with the Big 12 and squeezing out Fox. One very highly placed Big 12 school official told me this week the other nine schools are holding preliminary discussions about their own networks. To avoid Texas threatening to leave again, the opinion here is the Big 12 must be aggressive and try to strengthen itself against other assaults. That means looking to expand. It should go after Arkansas and LSU, Arizona and Arizona State, heck even Notre Dame.
“I keep hearing Kansas is talking to the Big East. Who would blame the Jayhawks for looking since they were nearly left out in the last realignment merry-go-round?”
Thanks Kirk. Thanks for proving alot of things. First of all, ABC/ESPN is trying to kiss Texas’ ass, along with the Big 12 Conference, so they can run their networks and own all Big 12 Television rights.
We’ve established there are hundreds of millions of dollars at stake here for ABC/ESPN and the Big 12 Conference.
Kirk Bohls gets his information straight from Bevo. Now Bevo wants the remaining nine teams in the remaining Big 12 to know that Texas can re-open talks with the new PAC-12 or go independent. Bevo wants the rest of the conference to know that Texas won’t think twice about strong-arming or screwing over the rest of the remaining league if Bevo doesn’t get what he wants, and what money grubbing Bevo wants is more dollars than the rest of the league combined.
In the same breath, Kirk Bohls brings up a rumor of the Kansas Jayhawks heading to the Big East Conference, then he opines “who could blame them?”
Exactly, Kirk. Who could blame Kansas for leaving the conference when everything off the field is tilted unfairly towards Texas?
At this point, who on earth could blame Nebraska for leaving the Big 12 Conference? With the mountain of evidence building every week that the Big 12 will do whatever it can to make Nebraska look bad on their way out the door, who in their right mind would call out Nebraska for leaving this shady, shakey, Snake-y conference?
How about Berry Tramel of NewsOK.com?
Berry Tramel of NewsOK.com published an article called “Big 12 crowd humming ‘Boomer Sooner‘ after Nebraska’s behavior” that underscores Tramel still doesn’t get it; Nebraska fans have every right to be paranoid about the Huskers’ treatment from the Big 12 Conference.
BERRY TRAMEL from NewsOK.com on Sunday, November 28, talks about the matchup between Oklahoma and Nebraska this Saturday night for the Big 12 Championship:
“Big 12 administrators, who outwardly will display all the proper decorum, will be humming Boomer Sooner under their breath.”
“Such is the fractured relationship of Nebraska and its soon-to-be ex-league, you couldn’t blame Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe for telling the Cornhuskers, don’t leave, just leave mad.”
Berry Tramel continues…
“Hey, Huskers. The Big Ten is a great conference that offers lots of money and lots of intriguing competition. Nobody blames you for going.”
“We blame you for losing your class.”
“What happened to those people? Now Nebraska seems inhabited by a bunch of kooks who frighten off Beebe, an ex-NCAA investigator, and fire off uncouth e-mails like they’re from Louisiana or somewhere.”
“The truth is, no one in Big 12 country was excited about Nebraska winning the football championship in its last year in the league. Now it’s become a crusade; keep the Huskers 0-for-the-21st century in trophies that really matter.”
HEY BERRY – We are looking forward to celebrating the rich tradition between the Sooners and Huskers. Don’t you remember the Big 8? The Game of the Century? Barry Switzer and Tom Osborne? Orange Bowls, National Championships and Heisman Trophies?
There are dozens of positive, interesting story angles you could have went with. How about the reunion of Bob Stoops and Bo Pelini, a former Co-Defensive Coordinator for OU? Instead, you join the rest of the mainstream media in painting Nebraska in a negative light.
Stay classy, Berry.
