I was about to complain, as I was certain I had 8 correct this week. Then I went back and checked the lines from last week, and saw that Nebraska only had gotten 2.5 against Oklahoma. I thought the line was 4.5.

Not to sound like a parrot, but props to 88 for running this. Things went smooth as silk.

You and FLW Buckeye made picks all 14 weeks. So your percentages are 76/140 (54.29%) and 75/140 (53.57%), respectively. L45B did not make any picks in week 2 of the game. So his pick percentage is 73/130 (56.15%). No one else who made picks in all three of the last weeks and who did not win a week had a higher percentage than L45B. So if L45B had been around / decided to participate in week 2, I'd probably be in...sounds about right...(BCS).....and his allegiances, though purely coincidental, probably indicate a 2nd shooter from the grassy knoll.

If you create a disgruntled participant exemption, I sure as HELL better get that one!

I can't apologize for making it into the finals, this is the system we all agreed upon. It is what it is. I'm just glad I have the opportunity to take my 6-game-a-week average into some steeper competition.

Food for thought -- us "big boys" at the top of the standings, if we bet every single game straight-up, would have broke even at the sportsbook.

I've been impressed with this pick 'em game set-up, thus my participation the past two years.... although a monkey flinging darts probably had a better chance of winning a week than I did.

I'm in the same boat. Missed two weeks so I had 53.33% overall correct of the picks I did make. I think Wolverine Steve also missed two weeks, so his correct percentage was 55.00%.

I damn near won the last week as well. Had 7 right, and two of my losses (Nebraska and Washington) failed to cover by 1/2 point each. Either one would've made me the winner.
