Game notes:

Croyle completed 7 of 17 passes for 40 yards and was sacked four times in his first start since the 2009 opener.

The Chargers out gained the Chiefs 426 yards to 67. San Diego allowed only five first downs -- one in the second half -- to tie its team record.

Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles, third in the NFL with 1,137 yards rushing coming in, was held to 40 yards on 10 carries...Quote from Charles.."We know their defense is not all that good" :hfal: :meds:

"These backs were tackle-breaking machines," Chiefs coach Todd Haley said.

The Chiefs were shut out for the first time since a 34-0 loss at Carolina on Oct. 5, 2008. They had only 16 yards and one first down in the second half. Croyle dropped to 0-10 as an NFL starter.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, were out gained 256 yards to 51 yards in the first half and had only four first downs compared to San Diego's 17.

The Chiefs gained 16 yards on 19 plays in the second half.

...very nice to have V Jax, Malcom Floyd, and Ryan Matthews all back in the lineup. Chiefs fortunate Gates wasn't in uniform. Not much doubt about who is the best team In the AFC West, but some serious doubt whether they make the playoffs.

You are obviously referring to the Oakland Raiders with their 4-0 division record. Unfortunately, it will more than likely be the dolts representing the division in the playoffs.

The Chiefs' coaching staff conceded that game as a loss before the ball was kicked off yesterday. Worst game plan I've seen in a long time. I'd rather lose the game with Brodie firing the ball all over the yard to loosen up the defense then going "run/run/pass/punt" almost every possession. :meds:

Or the Chiefs just aren't that good, they're nowhere near as good as recent division winning Bolts teams. Even if the Griefs do make the playoffs, most everyone expects they'll be one & done. The AFC South, West, & NFC West all stink.

Gotta' love Chargerfan.

One week they're throwing up the white flag and surrendering like France, can't abandon ship fast enough. The next, they're beating their chests and proclaiming themselves #1.

Newsflash, Chargertards: KC still controls their own destiny and your shit franchise with the empty trophy case does not.

wags stop tarding up the board. When exactly did I ever raise the white flag? And get a grip, your team isn't that good. Grief fans like yourself are frauds, as there were plenty of black outs last year in KC, when your team was nothing but shit. KC is just another fan base that only supports a winner.

End of story

Who gives a fuck???? Why should somebody support a franchise that's shitty???? I refused to go to a Chiefs game from 06-08 when Herm The HalfBreed coached this team right into the ground. There's NO law that says a fan of a team(s) MUST give 100% attention and their hard-earned dollar towards them if they suck. Goddamn, BlotFan of all fans should understand that!

They had 1 blackout last year.

And it took 3 straight years of sucking before they had their first blackout in 20 years. Your vag fanbase goes into apathy mode after 3/4 of a season. I guess that's understandable when you know beyond a doubt that they will be moving the very minute LA builds a new stadium.

As for your other inane comments, I didn't include or rebut them since you should know by now that I'm only stirring the pot.

Nice win by the Bolts. Should be a big confidence builder after last week's fiasco.

Just wondering, though. How well would the Chargers do without their starting QB?

OK, but in the few games I saw of them on TV, the stands were empty.

As do I.

I don't know, but it would be sweet if Rivers were to have a burst appendix by Friday and we could find out.

As for that game yesterday, I doubt it would've made much difference had Cassel played.

How proud you losers must be, lol Props on being the "best" of one of the shittiest divisions in the NFL....ANNUALLY.

Of course, making the playoffs should really be all of your goals because it's not like anyone with a clue actually expects your teams to win a game.
