Chiefs/Rams

This is intriguing because it looked like a game that didn't matter when the schedule came out and here we are...with a shitload on the line.
After that SD win Thurs night, the Chiefs' cornshutes are puckered, and the Rams are playing at home and they are playing loose. I like The Rams in this game as a lock. The KC frauds will lose and the choke job will be in full effect. Meanwhile, it will be a huge win for the Rams who will have a leg up on that division since Seattle has to play Atlanta.
What it comes down to is that the Chiefs have been smoke and mirrors all year and their defense just doesn't have what it takes to hang in big December games.
STL 33 KC 24

A lot depends of if Cassel can play at anything resembling 100%, they're calling it a gametime decision. If he goes at even 80%, I like their chances as they have kicked the shit outta' every NFC West team they have faced thus far.
If Croyle starts, then all bets are off.

Cassel WILL start (trust me, I know)....and the Lambs will get defleeced.
Chiefs- 31
Lambs- 13

I don't like KC in the dome.
I don't like KC in their 2nd straight road game.
I don't like the way KC looked last week.
I don't like KC if Cassel plays - bad idea, imo.
I perhaps like KC even less if Brodie starts.
I like the St. Louis crowd to be LOUD.
Lambs by at least a TD.

Can the NFC West pull off the reverse-sweep?

Pretty much like all of my picks have worked out this year.
BIG win for KC today.
Nice performance.
Win two straight at home and you're the West champs.

sure was a lotta' red at that game today, especially at the end when the Lambs fans headed for the exits with over 3 minutes left. At the 2 minute warning I could hear KC fan doing the war chant quite loudly. That was sweet.

Fuck me running.
I cannot believe I'm reading this thread for the first time. Had I realized YAFJ dropped by to submit one of his stone cold locks, I'd have packed my bags and boarded the first plane to Vegas to bet my entire savings on the Chiefs. Perhaps we should install a new board feature that alerts users via email when YAFJ makes a prediction. That way we can all get a little richer.

the most obvious difference when watching this game was wide receivers. KC looks like they've on got some good guys on their side of the ball. early on there were some drops on short routes, but downfield they got everything. St. Louis can't trust a WR downfield and Cassel got the ball in a catchable place and let his receivers get it done from there.
lots of Ram drives stopped short due to shitty receivers.

A good friend of mine and his family made the roadie to St. LOSER today to watch the game....said it was 50-50
Chiefs/Lambs fans in that house. You're right Wags, at the 2:00 warning the
DOTRF was doing The Chop as LambFan feebly headed for the exits.
Memo to the Blots and Raydahs: nice little late-season runs you tards are going on, but it really won't matter. The
Chiefs will win out at home and render your teams as effectively FUCKED. :D

They're called Google Alerts. I bet they'd work pretty well as YAFJO is a pretty unique internet moniker.

Speaking of the Rams... how many miles does the grossly overabused Steven Jackson have left?
I mean, Frank Gore thinks Jackson carries the ball too much for a long career.

I need to do a mea culpa on Cassel as I've dogged this guy unmercifully.
Dude is a warrior.
11 days after an emergency appendectomy, dude is out there leading his team. He may not be the most talented QB in the league, but nobody has more heart than this guy.

The KC win wasn't very impressive. Rams did diddly squat all day. Now KC fan is claiming the division already.

Yet they beat your team.
Chargerslut, worry about beating the Bengals next week, we'll worry about Nashville.

That would be because the
Chiefs' defense wouldn't LET them. Feel perfectly free to give credit where credit is due.

Yup....both remaining games are at home, and against losing teams.

Paul, that game vs. the Raiders will be the Cheifs' demise. The Chargers have a cakewalk with the 'Natti and Denver. I admit I read this game wrong but I'm still not impressed by these frauds. Oakland is going to be a BITCH in that game.

Who gives a fuck? At least they'll GET there....which is damn impressive for 2 teams that were a collective 5-27 last year.

...yet another NFL'er out of the San Fernando Valley.
For a while it seemed like Matt Cassel’s crowning achievement was going to be his performance in the 1994 Little League World Series. He was the star of the Northridge, Calif., team dubbed “The Earthquake Kids,” after a quake in their hometown earlier in the year (it actually led to Cassel’s home being condemned). He was 6-for-14 at Williamsport as the
Northridge team won it all.

...yep, did ya know he has 2 brothers playing pro baseball? My kid played on the 1989 Northridge all-stars that went to district. Thought we should have gone a lot farther, but a couple of errors by our SS doomed us.

Frauds, eh? Interesting characterization, Jack Off.
There is zero profit in mixing it up with trolls. But given my indignation of this year’s “effort” contributed by a criminally humorless herd of breathtakingly talentless reindeer (‘sup ‘tart), I’ll make an exception.
So your ass is chapped because the Chiefs refused to lay down for “lesser” opponents? Pity your overpriced, underachieving, malcontent Cowblows failed to adopt a similar strategy.
The Chiefs are two late fourth-quarter Bowe drops away from being 11-3. Conversely, they are a calm evening and an upright doink away from being 7-7.
That’s the NFL. Shit has a way of evening out.
What you, feminphilly, and the rest of you fuckin’ Losers fail to realize is that we’re playin’ with House Money here. Vegas set the over/under on this team at six wins. We’re sittin’ at nine wins, with a decent chance for two more.
You make it sound as if a first round defeat would be the worst thing ever. Really? We win the next two – at home – and we host a playoff game – at home. Which is more than Phallus can say this year.
Not sayin’ it’s gonna happen. Tennessee is gonna be a fight, and the Raiders are gonna be the usual War. But the Chiefs DO control their own destiny. This team is solidly coached, and the addition of burner wide-out-or-two and a couple-three pieces on defense, and I could easily see Division flags hoisted high over Arrowhead for the next five years.
It truly doesn’t matter who is running your retarded ass, Jack Off: You’re takes are as easily brain-dead as any NFL post EVER offered up by mvscal, and your writing style would do PISC proud. In short, please spare this Forum your sewage-treatment-grade inanity and just die, you joad-gargling sack of man-gravy. TIA

That's dumbfuck Paul being dumbfuck Paul.
Most Chiefs fans realize the next 2 games will be anything but a cakewalk. Hell, I don't even like looking ahead past next week but I know this: If Oakland has a chance to fuck up KC's season (keep them out of the playoffs) there is nothing more they'd love to do.

I predict San Diego will win 2 and KC will beat the Titans and lose to the Raiders. Sorry guys. It's not your time. Also, KC just does not have the talent SD has. We deserve to be in the playoffs.

Of course they would...but they won't. Our crib will be ROCKIN' for that game. Putting Marty Schottenheimer (who made the Raydahs his personal BITCH in his coaching career) in the Ring Of Fame before the game...the customary USAF flyover...yeah, I'm
loving the
Chiefs' chances of
taking out the trash.

Your record says what you deserve. If you don't make it in, then that is what you deserved. Why is that so hard for the even owners of the lowest IQ's to understand?
