I actually didn't watch much, it being Shit Bowl weekend and whatnot, but damn...
3 games, 3 blowouts.
Beats the living fuck out of no CFB though, right? At least it's an exhibition of two teams that at least managed to ring up 6 W's, which beats the crap out of two 2-10 teams, right?
Northern Illin' was doing pretty well towards the end of the season, but I figured the Fighting AP's would do alright, seeing as they play on the shit-turf every-other year.... and I figured wrong.
Saw the SEC Wannabes of Troy rolling, though. And it doesn't seem to matter how badly BYU underachieved during the season, they always show up for bowls... kinda laid one on the Ducks, when Oregon "Alabamaed" the Vegas Bowl a couplefew years ago,

2-1... figured that Fresno would show up in a WAC stadium... faulty logic.

Wait, bowl games started already? Damn, I'm sure I missed some epic games. Nothing says "classic bowl games" quite like December 18th!

Re: First bowls
This is why Jan 1 kinda sucks, imo. Because there are like 3 or 4 games on at once that I'd like to watch individually. Yet all these shit bowls get non-competing, primetime slots. The exposure is good for the little guy, so from that aspect it's cool...but still.TheJON wrote:Damn, I'm sure I missed some epic games. Nothing says "classic bowl games" quite like December 18th!
