DeSean Jackson's punt return winnah

Would have LAFFED MY ASS OFF if this little pecker had dropped
(or had stripped) the ball when he was flutterin' around on the 1 yd line
like king dipshit a-hole.

That said, WOW, what a finish!

LOL @ Tom Coughlin.

Andy Reid coached a game the Eagles should have lost.
Tom Coughlin coached a game he deserved to lose.

Yeah he's a punk. But a dangerous one at that.
You do know why he was flutterin' around on the 1 yard line right?

The clock went to 00:00, so we might assume that was his motivation.

Or we might assume he's just an idiotic asshole.

Take it into the end zone with :03 (or whatever) left.

If I'm Coach Reid, I'd rather have that than have him fuckin' around, wavin' the ball around, or whatever.

Given Jackson's talent, I think Reid kinda lets this guy do his own thing. It seems to be working.

Because he didn't know the clock was already at zero?

I have no idea where the game clocks are in the stadium and what Jackson could or could not see but it would seem logical that he was making sure no time was left on the clock when he crossed the goal line.
Chicks dig the walk-off punt return TDs.

His reputation would tell you that he was peacocking it into the end zone but the idea of running out the clock had to come into play. I don't think he's the smartest of players...I'm probably giving him too much credit. It was probably a little bit of both. He knew he was going to score but I'm sure he looked up to see if there was time left to burn before going in.

Bottom line, the Giants screwed themselves by kicking to him and to line drive kick it to him on top of it. You kick it that way, there's no time for the coverage team to get down the field. Him bobbling the punt gave the Giants a chance to make up for the low punt but they still botched the whole thing.

What I learned from yesterday...we'll see the Pats play an NFC with a bird mascot (Falcons or Eagles) in the Super Bowl. That was my thoughts for a couple weeks but I think it's looking more and more likely.

Has it been so long that we've already forgotten his rookie year?

Based on his body of work since then? Yes.

Based on his peacocking and carelessness with the ball, I'd say even he has.

He's a punk with a shit load of talent. I'll take his occasional mistakes and cocky attitude because his talent alone can win you a game.

His act is a perfect fit for the city he plays in.

This coming from the fan of a team who can't even sell out their own stadium.

Other than the punter's mistake, both coaches appeared more on the take than the players.

A playoff-bound team just doesn't give up 4 TD's in less than a quarter like that - unless they are truly fucking overrated. Not taking anything away from the Eagles, but I think they proved what the Giants truly are this year.
I can't argue with you on the Giants being overrated. But I give them credit for shutting down the league's most explosive offense for 3 1/2 quarters. What turned it around was the Eagles onsides kick. Why Coughlin didn't have his "hands" team on the field and why his front 5 were leaning back before the kick instead of holding their ground is beyond me. That's bad coaching.

Bingo! I am twice as happy that the Patriots DON'T have a jackass like that on the roster anymore. Eagles fans, just WAIT until he starts being unhappy about a contract dispute or whatever.

Hopefully one day Jackson will suffer a compound fracture of the femur and then the jagged bone splinter will be driven into his throat at the bottom of a pile.

I would get a pretty good laugh out of that.

Tampa would be the only city in America with an NFL franchise with a shit economy right now? Seriously go choke on a dick.

That already started and he would probably have gotten paid if not for the labor dispute. And don't kid yourself, any coach in the NFL would want a guy like Jackson on their team.

does a team have to line up for the extra point?

are they doing it because points matter in determining home field in the event of even records?

if it doesn't matter, seems like it makes sense to line up for 2 and take a knee rather than make the kick which theoretically could be blocked and ran back for a TD.

Christ you're old. When was the last time an extra point could be returned for a TD In the NFL?

Potential tie-breakers include points scored thus the need to kick the extra point.

When the defense gets the ball on either a 1 or 2 pt conversion, it's a dead ball.

In BTPCFB, if it stays in and the defense returns it for a tuddy, it's 2 pts.

This may be the dumbest thing ever posted in this forum. Considering KCPaul and other AFC West tards routinely post here, that is quite the accomplishment.

Kudos, man.
