If your sky is clear--check the time in your area and get your ass out of bed and take a peek. If you got kids, get them up too.

Clear skies? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Let me know how that eclipse works out for you guys.
I haven't seen the sun in two weeks, but it did get up to 50 today, which was nice. Just a prelude to the snowstorm that will be rolling in here on Thursday which won't melt until April.

Only partly cloudy right now -- I can see the moon, for the most part.
We'll see what happens in 5 hours.

Got up at 3 AM EST. Checked it out. A dark red moon. Cool. Photos on the AM TV news.

He was around for the last one, too.
Although he was just a little kid back then, so he might not remember it well.

I don't have speakers at work, but hopefully the end of this video will have the line you musta' missed during your 70's mushroom, mescaline, and peyote trips. Good thing I was doing LSD at the time and not whatever you were ingesting, you liberal hippy freak.

Yeah..nothing says a better trip than a synthetic drug versus some more natural types of mind altering substances. Probably had more to do with the 8,000 hits of nitrous you took when you were hanging out with the Dead. I suppose excessive drug use like that in the past supports your posting skills today...

You’re missing the point, Scott. Dark Side of the Moon has been beaten to death on the radio, hence Ucant’s comment. The other 5 albums (all superior regardless of airplay) have not been similarly abused.

Took a late night hike with some friends to get a good view. There were some clouds but they actually enhanced the experience somewhat watching the moon pass in and out of the thin cloud cover. A good time was had by all.

Meaning you woke up with a rubber in your ass and a five dollar bill in your hand.
No it means I walked with some friends up a hill during the night to get a better view of the eclipse. Do you see homos everywhere?

It might be up for debate or just a matter of opinion that Animals and WYWH were better than DSOM, but no way were Meddle or Ummagumma.
And while The Wall was pretty deece, it was also 'abused', if that's what you want to call it. I don't call it that, because listening to great music is timeless. Just like great literature or art. 500 years from now people will still be listening to DSOM for the remarkable piece of work that it is.

That would just be your opinion. I own all of them and I can't remember the last time I listened to Dark Side of the Moon. But here's a little Christmas present from me to you, Wags. You really have to watch the whole thing. Seriously.

The wall hasn't been beat to death in a similar fashion?
Yeah, OK.
Both have been staples of classic rock stations for 30 years. The difference is that it seems like airplay of the wall has dropped off because it was absolutely played to death through the 80s. DSOTM, having come out in an earlier time didn't get the huge airplay out of the box because FM album rock stations of the day tended to not role that way.
As for the others being better.....the PF snobs out there may think so because being PF snobs, they've actually heard the stuff. The rest of us more casual fans think you really should lay off the LSD/shrooms/whateverthefukk.
Personally, I think DSOTM is their best work and one of the best fukking albums ever made.

Red is my favorite color and IMO, one of the best ever made.
Wanna debate that one as well, dumbfukk.
Argueing colors ranking makes about as much sense as arueing personal music taste.
I 'spose you still think The Wall wasn't overplayed as well. Even a certified tard would laugh at that statement.

Let me see if I understand your reasoning.
It doesn't really matter how good the music is or was, once you've heard it "x" amount of times, it becomes shit, worthy only of contempt. So like your statement that you haven't wanted to listen to Zep for 20 years, it doesn't matter how long it's been since you've last heard it... the music has died, forever relegated to the dustbin of history. You're sick of it. It can never be worth listening to again and is to be avoided.
That about sum it up?
If so, what a bland, featureless, dying world you live in. Caged in by your prejudices, you wander around refusing to ever really like anything, knowing full well that sooner or later, you'll get sick of it.
Scott asked you the same question I did and never got an answer to: What do you like?
It's plain to see why asking you that question is irrelevant.
