I can't see a scenario where I would root for Dook, even if it were to wave the ACC banner. Summer vacation this year at Emerald Isle NC with my Dook relatives is gonna be schweeeet.

I got a scenario for 'ya. I rooted like all hell for the 'holes last night ( then promptly took a shower).....I'm in a pool where you keep a W-L record for every game and I'm ahead by a game. $400 ridin' on it for $20 ante. I took Illinois and Carolina last night. Money talks. I'm still a game ahead so have clinched at least a tie. Now the hard part........Carolina had a monster 2nd half but can they do it against Illinois? May have to flip coin.....

Living in Michigan, I wanted State to go down badly because I was sick of the local lovefest for Izzo and the Spartans. I'm so glad that's over.

I had UNC-Illinois in the finals with the Heels winning but since I have no chance in any pool I'm in, let the best team win on Monday. One of my best friends is a UNCFan and I'd atleast feel good for him if they one. Part of me wants Illinois to win though...I don't want HeelFan to have 'bode on everyone in the ACC like that. Either Duke wins it all or the rest of the ACC all goes down with them.

The real question is, how will Illinois screw up at the end of the game to hand the title to UNC?

Will they pass it right to a UNC player in their end of the court? Or will they call a TO when they have none left? Or will they do something different, like tip a ball in whlie going for a defensive rebound?

Ohh, I am a fan. I root like Hell, just when they only win 10-12 games a year and get bounced in the 1st Round of the ACC, you have to root for another team or the Tournament isnt fun. I grew up a Duke fan and have been rooting for them almost 13 years.

Well I have plenty of fun when FSU isnt in the tourny, not as much but I still have fun. I usually root for teams that I picked in the pools I am in, but that is just me.
