Do you think there is one Bigfoot, or many "Bigfeet"?
What is your preferred reference? Bigfoot or Sasquatch?
Scientist on the trail of elusive, smelly sasquatch
I'm also curious as to the occurrence of Sasquatch mentions in Native American folklore/mythology. Does anybody have any links?

Just curious...why did you post this in Theology?
I would have thought that the Native American shamanic tradition was evident.

The proper plural form would be Bigfoots, Marty.

Thanks, man.
This religion/spirituality stuff is rather foreign to me.

I don't think cryptozoology has much to do with religion/spirituality.

I already said I was interested in how the Bigfoot story ties in with Native American mythology.

Here's the deal -- I live in the heart of Sasquatch Country, aka The Apemen of Mt St Helens.
Anyone who thinks that if such a creature existed, yet some cousinfucker from SW Warshington hasn't bagged one yet is just plain silly.

Nice try, Dins, but Bigfoot is definitely Canadian property. British Columbia born and raised.

Not completely convinced that this isn't some hoax, though.

I've been holding back on this piece of evidence for too long...
Finally, the truth must be told.
You Bigfoot deniers sicken me.

What are we supposed to see there?
I know that too much use of the interweb has hurt my eyes - and I'm ready to retire, but first, please tell me, Marty, what is in that picture?

Tidbit:
Old school Natives believe that the Sasquatch has supernatural power, in that they can/will bring harm upon them if they speak of sightings, therefore many encounters go unreported.

What a bunch of fucking nonsense. The sasquatch does not have supernatural powers. However, the sasquatch does drive one of these:
