And I'll second jsc810. I believe you're referring to Wolfman. I'm a prostate cancer survivor and hope James can say the same thing in a few years. I haven't seen him post an update lately but I hope everything is going well for him. I remember sharing my experiences with the board at the time because I wanted all of the 40something guys to get a PSA test for themselves. That was in 2000, so I've been clean for 10 years. Now I have to get a colonoscopy scheduled to stay ahead of the colon cancer that claimed my mother.

Off topic, but in other news.. my mom turned 90 today, which in 2009 I wouldn't have bet on her making it thru 2010 after falling out of bed and breaking her hip again.
Happy Birthday mom, the nicest woman I have ever known. I have never heard her say a mean word about anybody or complain about anything. If there's such a thing as a living saint, she would qualify.

2010 was OK. Especially in comparison to 2009. Looking forward to finishing school and having the extra schooling pay off in the form of a new job. I guess I'm hoping to never again have to take a tech writing class.

A hospital bed. Or IV needles. I almost died on July 20th. Thought I was passing a kidney stone....turned out my appendix had exploded 3 days earlier. After 7 days in, following surgery, and 4 days in ICU, then 6 days out, then 18 days back in the hospital, my lower intestine was removed,cleaned, put back in....which SUCKED!!!!!!!!!.., and then!!!!............I had an incisional hernia right before Thanksgiving. THAT!!!!!!!!!! hurt. Agony beyond belief. And the surgeon told me..."You should have died! Seriously! You were the worse case I ever had that lived. Do you know how lucky you are?"
So, I agree, 2010.........fuck off.
But ya know what??????
