I owe Cueball. A sig. for one week.

The Heels did what we did vs. Ky. 2nd half, went on fire.
Made plays. Steals. Shot very well. Maybe NC is peaking, while MSU peaked 20 minutes too early. Too bad games aren't 25 min. long. UNC was obviously more talented. Most all of their players were recruited by our new assistant coach Wojik. Whatever. Our top 4 scorers from last night ALL return next year. Izzo's winning % fell behind K again, but after we win 4+ again next year, he'll pass K again. Duke loses Williams and Reddick and Ewing. (Allthough my brain tells me K will fix it so JJ and Will stay. Watch.)
JJ -why would that kid stay? ACC POY. ACC Tourn. POY should be National POY!

All in all, a GREAT season. The obvious 2 best teams are playing monday.
No way should MSU have been there. But at least we were center stage for another run. Most ALL of you guys here would Kill for the runs we've had.

My sig., Cue?

See you all in South Bend, for our Ass-kicking by Obi-Wan Kinobe, the new coach for ND.

Rack Izzo.

WAR 5 seniors ALL graduating on time.

War, Davis, Ager, Brown and Neitzel @ Ford Field next Regionals.

MSU...
You started perhaps your best post.....
....then it was right into the Duke thing. Uh, Duke ain't playin' this weekend...your guys are! And they were damn good...they just ran into a buzz saw in the second half. But give them and the teams that are playing THIS weekend the props they deserve. The other teams are at home for a reason.

Yeah, what's up with bringing up Duke? You claimed State should've beaten both times...no reason to kiss up to DevilFan. Just tip your cap to the better team on Saturday night and bow gracefully. State did more than a lot of people expected. Most probably had them being bounced in the first weekend by the Syracuse-Vermont winner. I do have a great deal of respect for Izzo and what he was able to get done with a team that looked nowhere near a Final Four team going into the tournament. They were mentally weak and still had just the win over Wisconsin as their lone quality win in the last couple of seasons. I have no clue who State has coming in recruit-wise but they've got a solid core coming back with Davis, Ager, Brown and Neitzel.

Don't worry Sparty legions, the Fighting injuns from the plains of Illinois will prevail over Vitale's country. It is our nature to bring down ACCdom lead by Dick Vitale himself.

Illinois 82
NC 75

East Lansing is a sure thing for riots. The worst thing to happen to MSU is when a team makes a run at a title. If they win or lose, the cops will be out in full force.

Almost every tv report I saw, showed the cops going balistic, and lobbing tear gas at the crowds of kids. No fires set. No cars overturned. No injuries. Just a bunch of cops escalating the whole thing. Actually Causing more rowdiness!
They arrested 40 people, obviously to make it look good in their eyes.

Whatever. Nowhere near the violence we've seen in the past, and surely at other large college cities, we won't mention.

Gee, Cue. Didn't know I was that special that you ask around for help in making up a sig. Or take days developing it. Why not just think one up? Sheese.

And Yes, State fans bring up Duke and K. We've been under their thumb for years now. Gimme a god damn break already. Is this a hoops forum, or what?

Oh, and Blind Ref. Those pics show nothing more than tear gas canisters going boom. Not anything thrown by a person. Not ONE fire set. No cars vandalised at all. Nice try though.

We all know that a TON of UMers and others drive miles just to "get in on it" and help trash our town and image after a huge game. Huge games that NEVER happen in your towns. Some even bring cameras and try and depict something basically harmless, and started by the cops.

The local news did show footage of East Lansing and showed that nothing really was going wrong and a witness said the cops were throwing tear gas all over for no reason. They may have been innocent for the most part last night but the po-po wouldn't be out there if it wasn't for their past performances. SpartanFan has an inferiority complex and they relish any chance to celebrate...unfortunately, a few boneheads like to overturn cars and start fires.

Heh. And there is no way that JJ is going. It's Shelden (National Defensive POY) we are worried about.

What. A couple hundred kids exiting their perspective parties, letting off some steam, only to have the Gestapo come in and create even more stress?

Riots in East Lansing are like the salmon of Capistrano.

...and don't act like the cops over-reacted. Considering what's gone on there before, recently even, I think they did their jobs. I can only wish that you'd have sucked down some of that gas, but the closest you've gotten to MSU is one of your ridiculously large pics that brings us ALL a little closer to MSU...

....north shore of Chicago....

Gotta' go with the Skull on the cops. If it walks like a duck.......
Yep, great idea, let the punks burn the place THEN move in. After all, "..they're only blowing off steam!!!!" Bravo. My guess is E. Lansing wasn't putting up with any angst ridden, mayhem inciting punks and got out the bud nippers......and sticks.
