Where should I send the flowers, Bri?

Is Rachel Maddow far behind?

Condolences.

One douchebag out the door ---------> another one will enter to take the seat.

Rinse, repeat ...

It's gonna' be tough to replace Olbermann on the douchebag-o-meter.

Bill O'reilly is laffing his ass off, and can you blame him?

He is(or was) a pundit on TV. They're all wieghted fairly even on the douchebag scale.

I find it funny that people who don't watch his show are thrilled that he is off their TV :?

This requires 2nd Amendment solutions.

So, Keith donated a nice little chunk of cash to Giffords, helping ensure her re-election? Had she not been re-elected, she might have a few more points on her IQ right about now as she prolly wouldn't have gotten her brain scrambled a few weeks back.

Keith, it's all your fault.

Well, not really, but, you could make the argument that she is more at fault than Sarah Palin.

What "thrills" people about him leaving is that, despite what PMSNBC was telling you, nobody agreed with or enjoyed watching him.

So who is Chrissy Matthews going to 69 with now?

Either Maddow drops into the 8 PM slot or Lawrence O'Donnell moves from 10 PM to 8 PM. Both are superior to what Olbermann was doing post Bush. Olbermann excelled as opposition to Bush. Since Bush left, he's lost his mojo.

Don't you mean his not being able to be something other than an unprincipled partisan hack? Because, to the best of my knowledge, he did change, but the times....not so much.

By this I mean the topic of his non-stop meltfest, bush's "illegal wars" haven't changed a bit. BH is more or less following the shrub's playbook. The main difference is that our boys in the field implementing this illegal warfare will be able to accessorize their uniforms with a nice feather boa and have a nice hard dick after a hard days work killing goat fukking savages.

I may be wrong on this because like a ginormous majority of americans, I don't tune in. But, I am fairly sure I'm right because if he said a single bad word about barry, it would likely make the headlines on news programs that people actually watch.

So, where do you suppose keith will turn up next to be mostly not seen/heard?

My guess would be XM/sirius on the commie channel.

Whitey? :meds:

Nope, not the end of the world B_Schmuck, but I remember your glee when his suspension was lifted, what, just a month or so ago. How many times did you sign that petition on Facebook? I've got the over/under at 50.

He was and still is your hero, and like you, a complete failure. :hfal:

Keith Olbermann's Exit -- Secret Deal
45 minutes ago by TMZ Staff

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Keith Olbermann saw the handwriting on the wall with the new owner of NBC and cut a deal for his exit that will give him money and options -- sources tell TMZ.

Here's how it went down. Sources familiar with the situation tell us that Olbermann's agent recently went to NBC complaining that Keith -- who has the most popular show on MSNBC -- was underpaid at $7 million per year. NBC execs told Olbermann's agent they would not cough up anymore money.

Network execs were well aware that Comcast wanted Keith gone because he was "a loose cannon that could not be controlled." It became clear to both sides that Olbermann's days were numbered and they began negotiating an exit.
We're told the exit deal wasn't completed until just before airtime Friday night.

Under the deal, sources say Olbermann will get money but cannot appear on television for a certain period time -- we don't know how long.

Our sources say Olbermann will, however, reappear soon with a presence on the Internet.

Not sure what the thread title has to do with anything, but maybe I'm just out of the loop.
Was afraid I was going to see an obit for EC or something.

In any case, I'd just like to jump in here with an emphatic

WGARA?

Carry on...

False moral equivalence coming from a pedophile. How surprising. Do you really think RL and KO are the same? I can tell you unequivocally that just like you fucking your prepubescent daughter is not the same thing as fucking an 18yo girl. Rush and Keith are worlds apart on the douche bag scale.
