So in the last 6 quarters of play between these two teams the Bears have scored a whopping 3 points. Impressive.

They'd better make those adjustments to their gameplan at the half. They're damn lucky to only be down 2 TDs, so a big Hester return or a pick 6 can still get them within striking distance.

On a positive note, at least the Hawkeyes are handling Indiana and on their way to their first conference win.

What was Cuntler's injury? Given the situation, if he was capable of standing upright on the sideline, he should've been playing. I guess the 3rd string qb was the better option regardless.

Cutler supposedly injured a knee but I think maybe he just got hit too many times to suit him .....and they were down 14-0 when he left the game. Not exactly the kind of leadership you're looking for in a QB, imo.

In the playoffs, there's a huge difference between being injured and just being hurt. Favre played through basically everything up until this year. Rivers played in the AFC title game with a torn up knee and played quite well. Legendary playoff performances are sometimes from heroic efforts from guys that play through stuff they probably shouldn't be playing through. This only fuels anyone's previous thought that you can't win with Cutler and that he's one of the softest QBs in the league. You at least would give the guy points if he plays through it and gives it an effort. He looks worse by just standing there moping while a 3rd stringer keeps them in the game and damn near got them into overtime. To me, I don't know how guys in the locker room can look at him the same way again no matter how hurt he was.

In fairness, a sprained MCL isn't like a sprained ankle or something. The language may sound mild, but it's a pretty serious deal. It's the same thing as a tear. He should've been on crutches on the sideline. The training staff has some explaining to do.

He shoulda taken the needle, taped it up and even worn a brace if necessary and deal with any additional injury he could have gotten later. It's win or go home. He wanted to go home.

But is it even an issue of toughness? He was playing like ass at 100%. Would it have been wise to play him at 50%? Collins was horrid, but the 3rd stringer was getting it done...until that pesky game ending INT.

I say leave it up to the coaches to pull him if they are not satisfied with his performance, and maybe they did just that and are not owning up to it. I'm just saying if he was asked if he could go play, he should have played. See: MJD.

I really dont know why Cutler didnt just keep his ass in the locker room. He doesnt give a shit about his team, winning or losing. He isnt alone though. Watch the replay of the pick 6 Raji took to the house. Aaron Rogers is running around like a crazy bastard. Meanwhile 2 of his team mates are on the bench never even blinking an eye.
