True...Michigan had their big year when hockey and football were national champs in 1997. State does have the most recent national title for the state of Michigan with the '99-00 hoops title. I don't give State much dap that often but they do have 'bode as far as having the last national title between the two schools. I'm fairly sure Michigan has a bit of a lead in the overall number of titles in the major sports...atleast they got they going for them, which is nice. Good luck to the Sparty chicks on Tuesday night.

I thought it was an NCAA violation to not have UConn or Tennessee in the Final.
