I don't think mark e smith was kicking anyone in 2005. I'm surprised he bothered to wake up for the jools appearance.

"We were playing a festival in Dublin the other week. There was this other group, like, warming up in the next sort of chalet, and they were terrible. I said, 'Shut them cunts up!' And they were still warming up, so I threw a bottle at them. The bands said, 'That's the Sons of Mumford' or something. 'They're number five in charts!' I just thought they were a load of retarded Irish folk singers."

Funny thing is that while I was listening I could totally imagine Robert Plant singing Immigrant Song over that song. Which would have been far preferable to listening to some drunk mumble for 5 minutes.

Because you're an artless twat.

That is possibly one of the greatest pieces of televised, musical theatre to date. The Zep revival fades into obscurity with a sterilised hambone impression, The Fall start playing over his applause and shaky Mark lands the old 1-2 with every note.

Screw move this to the MMA forum, it was that ugly.

Just a matter of opinion Phibes. I like vocals that are remotely intelligible and you like seeing heroin addicts shamblize all over themselves. No worries.

Sorry for starting the thread with his name then, you probably reckoned he snuffed it. It's a natural reaction.

Someone needs to shove Jool's homosexual face into a white-hot George Foreman grill.

Nothing good came from posting this YouTube, Phibes. Nothing.

i love the Fall. i saw them a couple summers ago in Boulder at the Boulder Theatre (total yuppie Etown venue).....Mark E. had fired the entire band 10 days before in LA, so you didn't even know if they were even going to show up.

I've seen Buddy Guy two times in Boulder, and seeing the Fall was almost dumber. however, Mark E. didn't play to the crowd like Buddy.

they showed an interminable 45 minute video "Mark E art piece" once the Fall were "in" the building.

after about the first half-hour, it was an awesome show despite the blah blah blah BLAH BLAH BLAH and rolling bass sound sound-nature of Mark E's latest....and his Suburu ad.

he looked terrible. he's a death watch.

lie dream of casino soul. i never saw Zep but I doubt the Fall sees another US tour.
