Why yes..both Dins and I are represented by this fucking tool. Thanks for noticing.
One of my sons ran into him on the street in DC last year. He was visiting every Oregon elected official, looking for possible internships. Wusan blew him off until he mentioned he was an Iraq veteran and asked about the VA. Wu said something, about the VA, then turned around and walked away from him. Fucking jerkoff.
This guy needs to go away, but you know, he said he is in a good place now.
There are
REAL KLINGONS in the White House.

I think that was the case...
but make no mistake, the nutjob is prone to doing really weird shit of late.
That's my district in a nutshell (along with the other populated districts in the Valley) -- dude has one foot in the loony bin, and has trouble putting a coherent sentence together... but he has a D next to his name, so he won in a landslide. I think it's been almost 40 years sine OR1 had a guy with an R next to his name, and Aucoin was about as lib/progressive an R as you'll ever find.
It beat some astronomical odds to find a bigger fucking idiot than the foreigner Elizabeth Furse he replaced (who I've had the displeasure of interacting with on many occasions, and she's a bigger cunt than she comes across in the media -- also an amazing feat. She's bilking major bucks from the taxpayer as some few-minutes-a-month "consultant," last I heard).

In my last post, I mentioned having semi-frequent contact with Furse (that unfortunate association went by the wayside a couple of years ago, to my delight).
But probably 5 years ago, I was privy to the "inside scoop" that dude was fucking everything that moved in both DC and Oregon, while he was still married.

Internships on the Hill go to people in college or college grads, not soldiers on leave.

Yeah I guess enrolled in college and a military veteran does not meet the standard.

Well, there are better ways to secure Congressional internships than wandering Hill office buildings and asking for handouts, but props to your son for trying. I guess.

He saw the futility of that tactic. He instead came back to the U&L and is getting a good college education courtesy of the VA.
He actually thought the politico's might talk to him. He must have caught Wu on one of those confusing days.

Not being a dick now, I give your son props for putting in the effort. I wasn't an intern, but I have three friends who were and they all got their internships through volunteering for local campaigns while in college.

Oh I know you were not. He did volunteered for Wu's challenger, who lost of course. He was on a political thing there for a while, but grew disillusioned with the bullshit. Kid is too smart to spend time beating his head against a political wall. He was a bit jaded about it all after coming back from Iraq, getting shot at and all.

That's how I do it... but I skip the "spilling it on the floor" step. As a bonus, it saves me money on birthday/anniversary/Valentine's gifts.

I saw Dins' representative's interview with George Stepalloverus, and it was the first time I had ever seen him.
Took me all of about 5 seconds to know that that fruit's stomach has held more semen than any navel ship in world history.

Oh -- and a couple of years ago, some report named him the #4 ranked spender of 535 in Congress.
