Man, what a life. Has to suck fighting a "war to end all wars" and then be sucked into the second world war to spend three years a POW - of the Japs :?:

RIP Dude.

Do we even make them like that in this country anymore ?

Dude was born in Bethany, Missouri which is just south of the Iowa state line. Wouldn't surprise me if he was Maces' daddy.

The article linked said Buckles was pushing for a National WWI Monument in DC. I hope he had the chance to visit this place, just down the road from his hometown.

Yes we do. You just don't hear about them until they are dead.

Don't worry, I'm sure he had to deal with plenty of handwringing douchenozzles in his day too.

Yep. They're eternal. It's just that nobody gives a fuck when they die.

Really, tubby, how much longer are you going to keep pushing this "Goober is old" schtick. You're admittedly just 7 years younger than I am (as well as exactly 100 lbs heavier), so if I'm really, really old that makes you what? Just really old? Time for a new approach.

Dude - I'm legally 47 as of today. I'm old. And considering you're about a thousand years older than me - well - god dammy! :P
Nice try. You're admittedly 50 or 51. If I have the time or the inclination, I'll dig up where you posted this. And at 58, I'm still much healthier than you'll ever be. Enjoy your remaining few years, fatso.

58? You fart-fucking snatch - you've got underwear that's older than that. Woodrow Wilson called you "Daddy G". Fuck - get a grip, fucker.
Enjoy your little fantasy world, where you’re not fat and stupid, and your wife didn’t leave you.
