Amazing game. Watching, essentially, TWO NBA teams going at it. A full 7+ players on the floor, that should be NBA already, playing a College game. Carolina has four legit 1st rounders!

Williams finally gets his. Rack him. Ill. no answer inside. Didn't make those miracle threes they had been all year, practically. Their obvious weakness was inside. It showed.

They didn't call the illegal screens because they were too busy not calling Sean May for charging every time he lowered his shoulder to plow over an Illinois defender.

And when they weren't busy not calling obvious fouls on May, they were busy calling ticky tack fouls on Augustine.

don't forget anytime an Illinois player got in the paint all contact from the elbow forward was completely legal.

Man Jay Bilas was all over this today talking about allowing May to do whatever he wanted to dislodge the defended and if the defender even sniff of getting his position back (Augustine) it was a fouled call.


In saying that,

Illinois played their SECOND worst game of the year and almost pulled this one out. One of those last 3's would have fallen, we would be looking at our first championship.

No one can tell me that NC is way better than Illinois. All they had was SHAQ junior and a bunch of undiscipline athletic players. Hell, Felton shot a three with two hands in his face and it hit while we had wide open threes and they went in and out.

I think Roytoy deserve the win, but not at the expense of us. :x
