I’ll be pulling for Butler tonight. I’ll pick them to win 72-70. Might be Calhoun’s last game.

Unless you're a UCONN alum or state of Connecticut resident, I can't imagine you're rooting for the Huskies in this game.
Go Butler.

UConn was a nothing of a school in the toughest conference in America when Calhoun arrived there 86. Our home games were played in a 3,500 seat gymnasium with a leaky roof. He single-handedly turned shit into shinola. Why is this... evil? It's a feel good story if I ever saw one.

Calhoun is Calipari Lite.....both cheating pieces of shit. I hope Butler blows them out and I think MGO is right....no one outside of Connecticut will be rooting for the Huskies.

Yeah, and people might feel that way about Butler 25 years from now. That's the evolution of things. Deal with it.

Nate Miles is now willing to talk to the NCAA. Sanctions might be for more than 3 games. UConn may not be as bad as USC, but they're filthy when compared to squeaky clean Butler.

Zero credibility loser whose timing seems very... "odd." Never played a game for UConn. The Nochimson/Miles story is boring. Three lousy games for "failing to monitor and promote an atmosphere for compliance." Boring! You want pizzazz? Let's talk Nochimson taking Rip Hamilton for a million bucks. Now that's a story.

Dook Vitale's prediction flow chart:
Pick Duke to win it all
If Duke loses, pick UNC to win it all
If UNC loses, pick the best Big East team left to win it all
If there are no Big East teams, pick the highest seeded team left to win it all

Googled uconn sanctions and got 505,000 results. The sleaze factor goes back 15 years or more.
In 1996, UConn was stripped of its NCAA tournament run to the regional semifinals and ordered to return $90,970 in tournament revenue because two players accepted plane tickets from a sports agent.

Sounds like Miles tried to cover up for the coaches initially, and now has changed his mind. Calhoun is dirty, it's just a question of how dirty.
I'll take Wisconsin's history in all sports over UConn's any day.
And to be honest, I never hated UConn. It's just that all of their fans seem to be such bitter little pricks. Calhoun always came off as running a clean program. Like many in his profession, it appears to be a facade. Hell, I always thought Tressel was clean.

Ah... yes. Very plausible. Cover for the coaches and the school AFTER they fucking kick you out. Yes, Goober... I am totally buying what you are selling. Makes total sense.
As far as your bitter comment, we've been there done that before. You're a crusty old fart who thinks that anyone who dares disagree with your shit take is...
bitter.
Two championships. Four Final Fours. Yes. I am... bitter. We were picked to finish 10th in the Big East and had no expectations for this year whatsoever. This ride... sucks.
Or. You're as clueless as this moron:

Dinsdale disagrees with me all the time but doesn't seem bitter.
Suckaholic disagrees with me all the time but doesn't seem bitter. Just stupid.
Derron, poptart, Terry and a host of others have disagreed with me at times without seeming bitter.

Oh, I don't know....maybe one would think that the cheating bastard being suspended for the first three games next season would be evidence enough for anyone that's not a complete fucking moron playing the part of an east coast Toejam.

Now how about this game? Pretty ugly, but in a good way. I see 2 teams playing their hearts out and the refs doing an outstanding job letting them do just that.

well, this is quite possibly the fugliest basketball game i've ever watched, but a third title for uconn is kinda pretty. take'm any way we can get them, i 'spose.
rack butler and their 12 year old coach for back to back runner ups.

UConn has put some nasty defense on Butler. Tremendous effort from a team that was supposedly out of gas. Maybe they're a hybrid.

nobody is making shots and butler has absolutely no presence in the paint. uconn has about eleventy million offensive boards. if walker was shooting at all, they'd be up by 30.

Props to UCONN for winning ugly and to Butler for getting to back to back title games. After seeing all of the great games in the tournament this year, this one was the worst game I saw.
Evidence? His 3 game suspension for cheating is evidence enough for me, Toejam Lite.

Dude - there was some decent defense played, but mostly it was just a case of two teams REALLY sucking shit. Besides - you're a Big 12 fan. You don't win shit at anything. :D
The teams really sucking shit bowed out on Saturday. Big 12?

Nice effort by Butler. While I think UConn's D was definitely a contributing factor, the Bulldogs just missed way too many open shots. They could have easily won.
Calhoun should step down and beg Stephens to take over.
