A member of a Jewish underground militant group that sought to end the British Mandate in Palestine and establish the State of Israel hatched a plan to send a terrorist agent to London to assassinate Britain's then-Prime Minister Winston Churchill in 1944, MI5 records reveal.

The Telegraph reports that Eliyahu Bet-Zuri suggested sending agents of the Stern Gang, a terrorist group dedicated to forcing the British out of Palestine, to London to kill the prime minister. Major James Robertson, from the agency's Middle East section, said threats made by Bet-Zuri against high-ranking British politicians, including Churchill and post-war foreign secretary Ernest Bevin, in November 1944 were disclosed by another member of the Stern Gang who was arrested in April 1945.

I think it's pretty obvious that the nascent Zionazis were every bit as ruthless and criminal as the current crop of Islamic fascists--ready and willing to do anything, including murdering national leaders, etc., to achieve their radical agenda. Just as with the murder of Sadat or Bhutto and various others.

Except that the Stern Gang was only one faction and the smallest of the "radical Zionists" at that. Strange how you support Palestinian atrocities against "occupation" while condemning Jewish atrocities against "occupation" even if you have to go seventy years back to find one. The Stern Gang was the speartip of the movement, and its actions are not out of the norm for the subsequent 63 years. All manner of murder, theft, sabotage, and spying has been documented, the "Lavon Affair" perhaps typifying the basic criminality of the government itself. But good job in dismissing the plot on Churchill as just an aberration. Too bad it wasn't considered such when it came time to eliminate JFK.

As for "supporting" Palestinian violence, in fact I regret it completely. It only serves to enforce the Zionazis bunkered resolve. Of course it's proper that the fake apartheid state not enjoy the comforts of imperialist domination--they should live in fear and anxiety, it's only natural.
