You're going to watch at least part, if not all, of the womens national championship game tonight.

well, at least the parts in between innings of the Royals White Sox game.

rooting for aTm, not because of any conference loyalty, but there's a couple of good players from KC on the floor for the Aggies.

oh, and too bad for ESPN that these two fucked up their dream matchup between UConn and Stanford. ucant' was getting oiled up for that.

yeah, these girls can shoot. And while they have nowhere near the athletic ability of men, they play fundamental B-ball. Obviously, very well coached teams.

Sorry to miss this thread last night. I was playing ping pong with my son until 9:30 PM and then watched a couple episodes of Sons of Anarchy. The only relevant A&M game yesterday was the 3-2 loss the #5 Ags had to Cougar High in baseball. Bitch sports can get fucked.

I prolly would have watched it if I was home, but I was at Petco Park watching the Padres beat the World Series Champion San Francisco Giants in their home opener.

I was hoping to see Stanford and UConn in the final but, since UConn got beaten by somebody, I'm not completely disappointed.

I think goobles a tubesteak has the proper punctuation.

I would think that the period would go inside the quotes only if you are quoting an entire sentence, but, then again, I would have thought that the possessive form of it would have an apostrophe jammed into it somewhere.

I actually looked it up and, of course, was wrong......in the US. The rest of the english speaking world does it the other way. At least the info I read did mention that logic would dictate it go outside the quotes, kind of like logic says an apostrophe goes in the possessive form of it.

I got 2 actually. My 3 year old is in gymnastics. I think she has 2 left feet. My 4 month old is working on rolling from her belly to her back. I was vaguely aware that the game was being played, but didn't watch a second of it. And my school was playing.

As it turns out, I hurt my elbow and wound up taking a couple of Advils and going to bed early. I was asleep by 9:30. Even if that hadn't happened, though, I wasn't planning on watching the game.

I just don't get excited about women's sports at ND. Others may, that's fine. It's just not my thing. And short of my daughter becoming a varsity athlete at ND, I doubt that'll ever change.

The funny thing is, most women have the same opinion. My wife goes to Warrior games with me and she played basketball in HS. I asked her about watching women's basketball or even going to a game and she asked "why would I do that?".
