Thank god he's not paid for his insights into world affairs. I appreciate that he apparently has some deeply held beliefs about non-violence, but he still needs to live in a reality centered universe. The towers DID fall and bin Laden took credit for that. Not to mention the USS Cole, the two embassy bombings, the Gold Mihor Hotel bombing, the Luxor massacre...
Need I go on? This guy, left unchecked, would have killed every non-Muslim in the world. I myself am normally anti-death penalty, and MY first reaction was FUCK YEA! Mendenhall needs to back away from Twitter and focus on training and football.

Rashard Mendenhall fired by Champion over Osama bin Laden tweets
Champion is "ending our business relationship" with Mendenhall since the athletic brand doesn't think he "can appropriately represent Champion," spokesman Matt Hall said Thursday night.
Mendenhall, the Steelers 1st round draft pick in 2008 out of the University of Illinois, recently signed a 4-year contract extension to endorse Champion through 2015.
