Wilkerson is clearly a big fish-hook, Dins.
i'm not a huge fan of the way the OKC NBA team pulls hoops fans away from the college game in OK. college hoops in OK has always been treading water (lotta empty seats at GIA, even, the last couple years)....in a football state. as far as a united front, it may be the biggest OK event. even the GotC in 71, 1/3 of the state was bleeding out of their eyes to hate against OU (OSU fans). Jim Thorpe jumping over a creek or some shit. everybody loves the Thunder.
anyway, after years of living in Bronco pro sports first/pay attention to CU when something bad happens....Denver....i've learned that the national pro media thinks college sports are the minor league of their great, big balls self-infatuation. and a standing belief that college fans are the mental inferiors of the guy at sports bar X who says "cover 2" a lot and repeats the talking points about Peyton from the Fox pregame....and has 4 fantasy leagues. pro only media are dumbfucks....the Bronco gravy-train here...bunch of sycophants....and they mimic their national idols. now, that OKC has a pro team....we bumpkins deserve some lube from the national writers of the world to celebrate chicken fried steak, the OKC bombing and how "friendly" everyone is....despite OU's status as a top 5 football program, we're just all lucky to have the national sports media let them talk about us when talking about themselves.

Has there been a bigger CF playoff game played in Oklahoma?
