Does your OL call you at work eight times per day?

Mine doesn't, but my head boss' OL at my company sure does. EIGHT TIMES PER DAY. He doesn't work in the office anymore (thank the fucking lord), but this ball-less sack of shit is so emasculated he couldn't (or wouldn't) tell his wife to STOP CALLING HIM AT WORK SO OFTEN!

She'd call about when their son would stub his toe. Or shit his pants. Or when she overcooked the lasagne. Or when the backdoor wouldn't lock properly. Or wondering where the soda was. Or when he got a D on the test. You know the drill.

When he'd work in the office, eventually he got the idea to not take these calls at his desk, so he'd go out in the hall. Now that he only shows up in the office once a month for meetings, you know when he's dealing with the OL because his voice gets real quiet at his desk.

Are you guys emasculated like my head boss? (I'm looking at you, Gobbles) Is it worth it?

Some people just need to be in constant human contact. I had a buddy that would call any girl he was dateing about 10 times a day. I would flip him shit about it, whats there to talk about 10 times a day? "Just checking in with her" he would say. Stalkeresque of him.

If my wife calls me, shes calling my cell phone and chances are there will be either bad reception or loud wind, machinery etc noises that will make for a difficult conversation. Pretty much solves her calling me for non important issues.

And if you talk to your spouse ten times a day, what is there to talk about in the "how was your day honey?" conversation at the dinner table? Its already been covered earlier.

Stalker-esque? How old is/was your buddy when he would do this? If I called any woman 10 times a day, I'd never get to the ol' in-and-out.

We will or "well" to me?

Is the OL term reserved exclusively for you married folk?

I will get up to four or five texts a day. If it's important, I call back. If not we reset it when I get home. Wifey knows not to call unless the conversation starts with "meet me at the hospital".

Unless you've lived together contiguously for 7 years, then it's known as common law marriage in those states that recognize it as such.

My wife can call me anytime she wants. It's up to me if I want to answer it. Also, not being a cube dork and having an office with a door gives me the freedom to take as many calls as I want.

But usually I get a "how's your day" call or my other woman wants to talk with me. How can you deny this?

I'm a blessed man.

That mamzer calls me like, 3 times a day.

I'm one of his two remaining friends that actually answers, for the most part.

The OL and I work in the same office, about 50 feet apart. The thing is, I'm a manager (since February) and she's not. I'm not her supervisor (thank God and g0D for that). It does create some tension occasionally (maybe because I have a private office with a locking door, and she has a cubicle  ), but not too much. We commute together and sometimes go out to lunch together. We don't really interact much at work, but she sometimes comes to me with technical questions.

The worst thing is that I want to leave my job at the office, but she wants to think about it all the fukking time. I don't mind talking about work in the car but when I get home I DON'T WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT, I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. Gotta give in sometimes, though, for the sake of domestic peace and tranquility.

So, essentially, this thread is about Screwey announcing to the world he has an OL.

Well, good for you, Screwey.

Why do you keep calling this dude your "head boss?" Never heard that before. You have many bosses?

And I'll save Goober the time...because he's the boss you give head to.

Technically, I have three people I have to answer to. I'll just refer to him as King Prick from here on out.

That's not the least bit funny. Leave the comedy to the professionals.

I believe the hierarchy goes:

1. Porn shop owner
2. Porn shop register jockey
3. Janitor
4. Jizz mopper

I call him maybe once every 2 to 3 weeks, if that. I make sure it's important. Don't worry he keeps the liquor well stocked at all times, it's never about that.

When I'm working nights, Mrs. Rumps calls me on my way to work usually around fourish to ask me if I got enough sleep during the day and if I remembered to put in my lunch pale what she cooked the evening before. When I work nights, she usually calls around 5pm to find out what time I'm getting home so she knows when to start cooking dinner.

Other than that, she's only called my work twice. Once was when her grandfather had congestive heart failure and the other time was when she wanted to know if it was okay for her to spend 4Gs for a couch.

It's kinda bad ass. It's a sectional with four independent recliners and the wedge is actually comfortable to sit in. Came with a seven year "anything goes" warranty. Normally I'd agree that it is way overpriced no matter what cool shit comes with it, but sometimes you get what you pay for when shopping for a deal on furniture.

I get maybe an email or two/day. If I find the time, I may respond. If something important comes up about our daughter (usually daycare related)... she'll pick up the phone. Other than that, fuck no.

He was in his 20's. He dated gals that liked to have that much attention. Drama filled nutty head cases.

He also dated a couple of women who were much older then him. One of them when he was 22-24 and the woman was 38-40 with a 17 yo daughter. The woman was liveing with her boyfriend and would meet my buddy at the bar on Friday/Saturday nights to party. Once when her bf got physical with her one night, she moved in with my buddy for a couple months. He would talk about how he loved the mom, yet wanted to get with the 17 y.o. daughter also. :?

Another thing was that my friends mom had him when she was 16 and I remember he brought his 40 yo girlfriend to his families Thanksgiveing dinner once where his mom, aunts, uncle and grandparents were in attendance. That had to be the most uncomfortable TG ever. The last thing i would want my mom and girlfriend to have in common is age.

Hes 41 now and still single from what i hear.
