I found out today that I lost a long time golfing buddy to the big c
hadn't seen him for a couple of months and last time I did, he didn't mention anything about being sick....he looked considerably thinner, but I just thought he was on one of his weight loss things....nothing extraordinary about the round we last played (other than I won $30 from him), but then it dawned on me that was our last round....now it seems pretty special....
