Just choose the least painful path (health, money, PITA, etc) for you. If it works out well, take credit for it. If someone is fucked over as a result, say that you prayed for days and just did what God and G0d told you to. That's like the Southern "get out of jail free" card. :D

Oh, and if it's about having another surgery, do it. I had heel/achilles surgery 3 weeks ago, so if you want to maintain your lead in the TNW gimp-off, it's a no-brainer.
