Do you people not have a balanced budget amendment? Just curious...

Don't know if it's an "amendment" but it's a legal requirement. That was one of the reasons he was able to veto it, because the state Controller (or somebody) decided that it was $2 billion short.

Yes, but this is the first budget that has been submitted since the law passed.

Our legislators don't get paid if they don't submit a balanced budget by the constitutional deadline of June 15th. The Democrat asswipes who passed that ridiculous piece of shit budget thought they found a cute way to get paid. They're acting like children who do a shitty, half-assed job on their chores and still demand their allowance.

Here's a Democunt from Burbank, Mike Gotto:
I halted a fulfilling private sector career path to enter public service.

"I now have to explain to my wife and daughter that we won't be able to pay the bills because a politician chose to grandstand at our expense.

"California has officially degenerated into a Banana Republic, with one branch of government withholding the pay of another. I wonder if the Controller plans on withholding the pay of judges if he disagrees with one of their decisions."
Poor little guy. I wonder if his "fulfilling private sector career path" tolerates repeated failures to make deadlines. I'm guessing not.
