My plants are outgrowing their cages, just rioting. Another 30 days or so, I'll have enough to feed the entire neighborhood. A BLT sammich sure sounds good right about now.

I'm already seeing a few tomatoes on my plants. The warmer weather next week should really push them along.

haven't bothered with tomatoes the last few years. gotta be 5 or 6 houses within a mile of me that put out their extra homegrown produce for next to nothing. way easier to stop as i pass by, stuff 3 bucks in the coffee can and grab enough tomatoes for the week.

I've thought about it. I assume you have made some before. Suggestions? I have access to some really exceptional Turkish olive oil, but it would get pretty expensive dumping it into a blender. I mostly dip bread in it or make small batches of viniagrettes.

Olive oil is not necessary or even desirable unless that is what you're going for. I use plain old canola oil but I seldom make it unless I forget to pick some up from the store.
