Baseball for the few that have teams in contention, and an occasional major golf tournament.....and then, in the Fall we have college football, college hoops, baseball still, NBA action, NFL......
Why can't they be staggered a bit for some kind of sports watching?

Personally, I think the NBA would make a shit-ton more money if they played in the spring/summer. They would not be competing with football until possibly the playoffs which you only gotta worry about Sunday and Monday as far as scheduling. It is an indoor sport so the heat doesn't matter. Since it is the summer, parents are more likely to take their kids to a game in the middle of the week. Lastly, hardly anyone watches the NBA on TV these days until the playoffs. Put games on when there is nothing but summer sweeps on and you could probably have a nationally televised game 4-5 nights a week that would actually get some ratings.

Yes, because people want to spend their beautiful summer nights not only indoors but watching the beautiful sport of basketball slaughtered by a much of ignorant and selfish tards.
