i saw that. i'd like to see a roster of "Team USA"....right now, Cody is playing semi-pro league or something in Sweden or something. i can't imagine a lot of BTPCF being played in this one. Big XII hoops for instance.....Headline: "Alec Burks named to All-Conference team".....they'll give you a little story about Alec, his scoring avg, bio, and then not EVEN link the rest of the all-conference teams 1st through HM let alone list it in the story. or Big XII recaps: "Griffin scores 23 as OU cruises". then a little blurb composed entirely of information one obtains from the box score. Griffin had 23 points and 14 rebounds. Curtis Jerrells led Baylor with 19. OU led 44-38 at halftime before outscoring the Bears 45-28 in the second half. attendance: 8,787. end of info. almost never the conference standings....etc.
"Boulder golfer advances to US Amateur match play".
"Chaz Ripley shot 71-70 to advance to the match play round of the US Amateur held at Diggly Woods Point CC in Bethesda, Maryland". nothing else....no mention who he plays, qualifying scores, seeds, nothing. EVER. any "hard working" sports journalist with google could find this out and put it in the gawddamned article in 2 minutes.
yeah, yeah, yeah...i'm free to google it too....but, i'm not getting paid either.
