i have a ton of them. i like disco music. like its cousin 80s synth funk. i like abba.

i like loverboy. good pop rock tunes.

I like that big thick meaty organ sound in baroque. and the ones in the old movie theatres.

i like crunk rap. big subwoofer killing 808 beats. and bay area hyphy. big fan. and all that new orleans shit like early lil wayne and birdman and juvenile. lyrics are fucking stupid and even caustic. but I will be playing underground hip-hop, throw this on and it makes everyone happy.

Hey man, there's no shame in liking "Weird" Al. The guy is genuinely brilliant...

Sometimes, I think it's a shame when I get feeling better when I'm feeling no pain.

Nobody wrote a ballad like Gord. Nobody.

Does anyone know where the love of God goes
when the waves turn the minutes to hours.
The searchers all say she'd have made Whitefish Bay
if she'd put fifteen more miles behind her.

fuck, you picked the one popular song of his that I really don't like....maybe because they overplayed the shit out of it

two favorites...I spent a long time figuring out how to play Beautiful....kind of a tricky song to finger pick correctly

other personal favorite songs of his include Don Quixote, It's Worth Believin, High and Dry, Steel Rail Blues, The Pony Man....I'm more fond of his earlier stuff....

If You Could Read My Mind is probably my favorite Lightfoot song....Sit Down Young Stranger is my favorite album with Don Quixote a close second.....

Thought about this for a bit. Gordon Lightfoot inspired The Guess Who to write a song about him. Croce was good. Gordon Lightfoot was better.

I'd forgotten about this, and yeah I'd probably call it a guilty pleasure but at the same time, I think it's a really really good song with great lyrics.....

Saw this guy last Thursday night:

Peter Rowan started out with Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys. He later teamed with Jerry Garcia, David Grisman and Vassar Clements in Old & In The Way. A couple of his old fellow Bluegrass Boys sat in with him for the second set. They all have to be approaching 70 years old. Awesome show.

I've had this in the car stereo for the past couple of days.
I had to drive to Mojave on Monday and this shit is perfect for blasting across the desert.
