I'm bummed.
Not bad by current Bite standards, but a few years ago, they decided to get away from big name bands and focus more on the food.
Because I can't ell you what a privilege it is to pay $10 to get in (actually voluntary, but they won't tell you that) to pay $8 to sample a few bites of food.
Wasn't that long ago, in the $5 entry days, that I saw Death Cab followed by TMBG. The next year, it was The Decemberists opening for Violent Femmes.
Right smack dab downtown, on the Waterfront.
The Bite is a shadow of its former self. I remembr going to the first one they had with my folks, as a teen.
