2011 Rules Changes

Couple of big rule changes coming this season that are going to get some of you very fired up. Others are administrative in nature and few of you will even notice.
First is the taunting. Any taunting will now be treated as a live ball foul. In the past this was treated as a dead ball foul even though it could occur while the play was still live. So lets say that some donkey breaks free for a 75 yard TD run and at the 30 yard line he starts his best Prime Time high step. Bean bag and flag go down for the taunting. In the past the defending team had the option to take the 15 yards on the try or the kickoff. This year we will go back to the spot of the foul and mark of 15 from there, no TD.
Another is the 10 second NFL style runoff in the last minute of each half. The defending team now has three options, take the yardage and the runoff, take the yardage only, or decline the penalty.
Have at it.
