Yes, it's really a shame that he couldn't be a class act like Jim Tressel.

As much as I want to dislike Dantonio...I think Bielema becomes the most hateable coach in the Big Twelve with Slick Jimmy (and RichRod) gone.

OK. What exactly makes him a douche. I know the answer to that one on a personal level, just curious what makes him a douche as a coach.

My opinion?
Wisconsin 83
Indiana 20
Wisonsin 70
Northwestern 23
Kicking the ball out of bounds at the end of the half, repeatedly, against PSU a few years back to get the clock to run out.

You got Pelini now...
He comes into a new conference with a clean record with me but he's definitely a red ass. Bielema is the resident a-hole for now.

Funny how nationally he's looked at as a bad ass, he hates media and he hates getting screwed by Big 12 refs showing him and his team the door. (see ATM).
He's a hot head for sure as he demands perfection. His kids love him and that's not lost here. It's not BS, they do like him as he does watch out for their best interest, been documented here locally a number of times. He just wants to coach, he prefers to remain anonymous. He has had a tough time with the responsibilities of media and appearances that come with being a head coach. Folks here were curious with the B1G media get together in Chicago, he did us proud. He's cool as long as you talk football and keep the stupid obvious away from him. He's great coordinator material because it's in the background, his CZ.
I do know by good authority that Osborne and boosters will not tolerant another A&M style meltdown even though he was getting the royal treatment as a farewell present that evening. That was not in Osborne's wheel house and he won't stand to see that again. Pelini will be gone if he doesn't grow-up to some extent. I've gotten this from someone inside the department. He'll melt, but he better do it with some degree of decorum.
On a side note: Dear Texas A&M, be prepared to have your road blocked at some point this season if indeed you're bye bye is official before the end of the season. Sherman will know the wrath of Pelini...bank it.

Fair enough. He's an a-hole. But he's our a-hole. Hopefully he runs a clean program. It's nice to have a clean a-hole.
Trust me, he's a much bigger douche on a personal level.

I hope Kelly is thought of the same way. I don't give a good clownshit what other people thing of him as long as he has 1 or 0 on the right hand side of the won/loss ledger.
Btw, thanks Goobs!

bad enough we have to get cornhusker's "theory of the Big XII" featuring Dr. Tom as the ass-kicking hero redux one year later....but, now it's the ref conspiracy thing again.
jesus.

You're right, it is the same tired shit over and over a year later. Kind of like how the same guys still have to bitch about Nebraska at every opportunity a year later. It goes both ways.

What I wrote concerning Osborne:
I do know by good authority that Osborne and boosters will not tolerant another A&M style meltdown even though he (Pelini) was getting the royal treatment as a farewell present that evening. That was not in Osborne's wheel house and he won't stand to see that again.
Please remind me where I mentioned any hero worship from last year...this refers to him not putting up with Pelini's diatribes. (Danimal?) No mention of exiting the conference in my post as you would infer.
To a conspiracy as you mention; I believe I mentioned A&M could be "roadblocked" at some point if they announce a departure. I guess we'll see if that would come to fruition. Please show me where I claim more than one game, which to me would be required as a
conspiracy, towards NU. It was a parting shot and many at the game including A&M fan felt NU was called on numerous penalties that cost them a
fair chance to win the game.
A&M won and deserved so, but NU wasn't allowed the opportunity to win that game.
Penalties:
NU 16-145 yds. A&M 2-10 yds.
3rd and 11.. 6 minutes to go, A&M gets the game winning FG as a result of this call:

Mr. Crimson, I've seen so many of your post trolling NU fan, you have a deep seated visceral towards NU. That's OK, you enjoy yourself, it doesn't matter to me as this a a stupid message board and I'm way too old to bite..I like to think you're jealous of NU getting off the rat infested Big 12 Titanic. The iceberg has struck and you're still on board. So you post away, and I'll keep on smiling knowing where my team will be playing in the next decade. You don't..unless of course you're a Colorado fan posing as a Sooner fan..it's hard to tell.
