In large part...the SEC doesn't want any ramifications of tampering being an issue. It also involves A&M soliciting the Texas conference on exits fees and other such obligations to the conference. But not to fear, Dan Beebe has others knocking on the door of the Big 9. (Of course we all know who's call it is who would be invited, it ain't Beebe.) I don't know why the just don't ditch Baylor and they can once again become the Big 8. TRADITION!
